Abel was killed and Cain went off with his wives. Where did they come from, wouldn't they have been his sisters. If they were created out of nothing why did they have to suffer the pain caused by Adam and Eve eating the apple? Why did God kill all the humanity except the family of Noah and then expect them to repopulate the earth? Was that another case of "Where did the next generation come from?"
How did so many wives appear to be married to Cain and how many wives were permitted at that time. The question goes on to the next generation also. Who did the children of Cain and Abel marry? Who did the children of Noa's children marry? Is the word incest allowable when discussing the Bible? If not how is this explained? A less important question is what did the animals on the ark breed with following the flood? Again, there were only two of them until after the offspring was born, where did the third generation come from?

if I don't believe in 'God,' who then is responsible and what's the purpose of hurting my heart so badly? I need to understand. The only explanation that makes sense to me, is that life really has no value - it just, well - 'is' - until it isn't. Pointless nothingness. Thoughts?

Think about it. God didn't even make the Bible. The Bible was made back when marriage was a father selling his daughter to the man who offered him the most money. Wouldn't God be much happier with us having sex with people who we actually love, even if we're not married?

We are told, in Matthew, that there are 14 generations between Abraham and David, between David and captivity to Babylon, and between Babylon and Christ. This equals 42 generations between Abraham and Christ. It is suggested that there are about 2,160 years between Abraham and Christ. 2,160 divided by 42 equals 51.4 years per generation.

If we add this up, 1967 had to be the Israel big date, 51.4 years later is 2018 minus 7 years tribulation equals the year 2011. Time is short! Any Replies???

If you add the years that Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Jesus died it would equal 5766 which is 2006 (USA time). Any thoughts on other Biblical math stuff?

When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. so apparently it was original sin that shortened the lifespan of people from as much as 1000 years down to about 100 years. so why do many of adam and eve's offspring still live to be nearly 1000 when many of them were already corrupt with original sin?

I feel like we're not getting any real answers, cause every Christian is a total new world, and everyone's god is a completely new one. A reflection of everyone's desires and ideals. The same happens with everyone's conception of Hell and Heaven and other similar concepts. Why so much inconsistency? Why don't you gather all together and get to an agreement so you can make your little fairy tale more credible?
Thus more people will buy it.
