Moses said a prophet must be in agreement with the prophets and the word of God.
Moses said there was a tree of life in the midst of the garden.
Moses said God said let US create man in OUR image. Then God created man with more than flesh but with an eternal spirit and these became a living soul.
Abraham said the lord would provide himself a lamb.
Isaiah said the Messiah would atone for sin.
John the Baptist said Behold the lamb of God.
Jesus agreed with the prophesy of Isaiah and said he was this Messiah and he would fufill this prophesy.
One Muslim said to be a good Muslim one must agree with the prophets of God and the Qu'ran.

Ayn Rand has this philosophy called objectivism. I think it makes a lot of sense. I'm getting ready to read one of her books. "The Fountainhead" Do you know anything about any of this?

I consider spiritual warfare to be on two levels: The outer influences of the world that make you forget your cause, and the inner temptations that can make a train wreck of your best intentions.

I have a feeling we are all going to be sorely tried. Thank you for your answers and opinions.

I want to believe in the supernatural and things like this but also I am a skeptic of everything and need proof before I believe anything. Do you believe in psychics? Are you psychic? Can u prove it? It would be nice to know if it exsists.

Did he know he was going to be crucified? If he did, and he did nothing to escape being crucified, that makes him a suicide. Suicide is sinful. So Jesus is in hell for the sin of suicide, no?

My own experiences have led me to believe that there is a consciousness that exists beyond this physical life. If you've had an "out of body" or "near death" experience and are willing to share, please do so here.

then wouldn't Judism be the one true faith? It's been around longer then Christianity. It's still here as a matter of fact. Perhaps its the one true faith after all because Christianity hasn't overshadowed it in any way.
Or Sumarian paganism. Sure it was stomped out for a while, but its make a pretty strong comeback. Perhaps the Gods just needed some recoup time but they are back stronger then ever.
I am partian to the Egyptian Gods myself and we have a lot of documentation at our fingertips. Our gods never left, as a matter of fact our holy texts were collected by Christians. It's been aroudn longer, so does that make it the one true faith?

Time spent on this earth with humans doesn't make any one faith true.Christianity is a BABY compared to other faiths. Find a new arguement.

Is the Christian church representative of his intentions and teachings?

Do you think Jesus would have said or done anything differently as described in the New Testament, knowing back then how humans would interpret the scriptures over the next 2000 years?

What do you think he might want to go back and change or clarify a bit?

Well...from what i learned in chruch, God is all about love and forgiveness and most of all being humble in his love. But then why do certain christians bash out and get all defensive and act all self-righteous??

What would you choose?
Would you let your kid die in the hope that god would heal him or would you finally accept the fact that stem cell research helped your kid therefore is good for everyone?

Why do christians perpetually complain about how bad they have it compared to others that aren't christians when they will get everything they desire in heaven?

i.e. "Why did God let this sex offender win millions of dollars when I am struggling with 3 children on a limited income" - I actually heard a "christian" mother say this.

Can't you christians have a little patience until you pass on to the Golden Gates and receive it all while you watch all the people you envied your entire life suffer in hell?

Were you asleep or mentally undressing the girl (or guy) next to you?
Because in Scientific terms "Theory" does NOT mean "just a guess".
Please follow this link. It will explain, in simple terms, how a theory can be fact.

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/evolution-fact.html

Look at Gravity for example. It is a theory only (no there is NO law of gravity. Newton wrote a mathematical law to help explain gravity, but there is NO "law of gravity", only theories) yet none would deny that it exists.
Same with Evolution. NO scientist with a REAL degree would argue that Evolution took and takes place. Yet the mechanisms that drive it are constantly being discussed.
Please learn the difference between the word Theory, and "just a guess".
