I guess it can be the "word of god" to people as long as they aren't terribly picky about how evil and psychotic their god is.

Ezekiel was a prophet of God. He & Daniel and a few others were also the first prophets of God who were taken captive & held in captivity in a foreign land. This scripture is a prophetic vision Ezekiel was given by God about what the Chaldeans rulers would command their commanders to do to the people of Israel. The Chaldeans did kill everyone but those who loved and worshipped Almighty God. God saw to it that they were protected and spared in the slaughter.
This prophetic vision of Ezekiel is also prophetic about what is going to happen during the Tribulation (i.e., Revelation & Daniel) when the Anti-Christ becomes the head of the one world government and how the Anti-Christ will seek out and destroy everyone, sparing no one. Once again, those that have become Christians during the tribulation will be protected & marked and spared from the Anti-Christ's wrath upon mankind.

Yes it is, what's Ur Point??? Maybe U should spend less time in "Music" and more time Studying the "Scripture" if U think U can "Prove it Wrong"!!! That way U could "Get It Straight"!!! O'l Zeke here is "Transported" through a "Vision from God" to Jerusalem where God shows him the Abhorrent Idolatries that were being practiced in the Holy Temple!!! The Worship of Astarte, Egyptian Animal Worship etc. was being celebrated in Wild Orgies & Bestiality Defiling the Temple! It was so bad that God showed through this "Vision" what He would do to the Inhabitants of the City if they didn't turn from their Evil!!! Oh well, U will soon learn the 2 "Rules" about Scripture!
Rule #1 "Scripture is Never Wrong"!!!
Rule #2 "If U think Scripture is Wrong, See Rule #1"!!!
Back to Square 1 ??? John

Perhaps this will help...
2Ti 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That is, all holy Scripture; for of that only the apostle is speaking; and he means the whole of it; not only the books of the Old Testament, but of the New, the greatest part of which was now written; for this second epistle to Timothy is by some thought to be the last of Paul's epistles; and this also will hold good of what was to be written;
for all is inspired by God, or breathed by him: the Scriptures are the breath of God, the word of God and not men; they are "written by the Spirit"
Eze 9:6B but come not near any man on whom is the mark; these were not to be slain; and though some were carried captive, as Daniel, and others; yet it was for their good and God's glory; See Rev 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

Yes, the Bible is the Word of God. What you showed in Ezekiel is actually prophetic in nature, in that this is a prophecy about the end times, and how God will mete out His wrath on all those who mocked Him through the ages. It refers to events in Revelation.

I do not beleive the Bible is God's word. I believe some of God's messages are in the Bible but God did not write the Bible. We are taught that no one has seen God except in the form of God the Son so how could God have written the Bible? All the books of the Bible were written by men.

It is true the Bible sometimes says things that are difficult to understand the first time read.
Your example is not one of them.
First, you refer to Ezekial.
That book is a vision, not actual.
The slaughter that did come to Jerusalem, was not done by God ...but the Babylonians.
Plus the Jews had ignored decades of warning and basically got what they deserved.

And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?
Eze 9:9 Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah [is] exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.
Eze 9:10 And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, [but] I will recompense their way upon their head.
God didn't want a bunch of sick perv pagan worshippers in the lineage of messiah. so he got rid of them. oops. next time maybe they'll listen.
