yes i believe that the world is 6000 years old but the bible didnt say it so exaccly i mean in that words but we can count ,i personally had count the years from Addam to Noa by counting the years ages of people who had lived becouse it is writhen clearly from Adam to NOAs wather fal =1558 years +1 year wather ...then from the wather fall to the born of MOIS =290 and we know that Mois had born at 2166 before Jesus Christ.you can count the rest. i don't believe to the human mind who change theory's each time they discover a new things and some times they ignore each other one time i so two profs against each other they both had had logic explication of theory the first said that there are some kind of rocks need to very long millions years to compose its needs warm cold ets .... and the second said that the same rock is composed of an enzyme which is very easy to compose it needs very little time and its become sufficient hard and so and so ...so they are not sure.believe in God is more better than human.

The Bible doesn't say any such thing. It couldn't, because the Bible is truth, and we know for a fact that the earth is much older than 6,000 years. Much older than 6,000,000 years! This ridiculous belief is the result of foolish attempts to self-interpret the text in a way that will support the pre-conceived assumptions of a small (thank God!) minority of supposed Christians, who sadly have wandered far away from the faith of the Apostles.

No. the earth and universe is billions of years older because The Bible starts recorded history,(Genesis) after the last prehistoric era and the beginning of the modern era of evolution. This is the answer to the debate between creationists and evolutionists.

Where in the Bible is the passage saying the Earth is 6,000 years old?
I don't believe it is only 6,000 years old. It is more like 4.7 billion years old. This is indicated by the uranium/thorium ratio and zircons discovered in the oldest rocks.

The bible doesn't give an age for the earth.
If it unequivocally said that the earth's age age was 6,000 years, then I could believe for sure that the bible was written by wack jobs.

I think it was created yesterday. The evidence pointing otherwise was created by evil mutant rabbits to push you away from the Truth.
