The relatively recent abundence of free time in human life (in terms of the present back through cave man times) has a dual and seemingly paradoxical effect on us as individuals and as a society. As humans are given more free time (due in large part to mechanization of our society), we also have more free time to contemplate the how and why of our existence. Often these Q's lead people to an answer in God. Does anyone else find it ironic that many of our scientific endeavors lead us to this sort of contemplation? Should this ultimate outcome make for an advocation or a denouncement of technology?

What are your thoughts on this? Does the devil exist? Is he really like people say he/it is?

can the mind just be used to form the words, not to make up an answer?

can the answer come from the same place as the question?

"Lord Jesus, thank You for showing me how much I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for me. Please forgive all my failures and the sins of my past. Make me clean and help me start fresh with you. I now receive You into my life as Lord and Savior. Help me to love and serve You with all my heart. Amen."

Jesus said: " Everyone whom my Father gives me will come to me. I will never turn away anyone who comes to me". John 6:37

For example, I found out I have something in common with Jehova's Witness.

I have things in common with a lot of other faiths.

I have many things in common with science.

Kind of cool...

And when did the mind of a human being realize it needed companionship, love, warmth.

And how did the brain know it needed a mind for these things?

We could go on and on with questions like these and never come to a adequate conclusion because GOD CREATED ALL OF IT!

Not one Atheist can answer all these types of questions and if you say they can then prove it?

You ask Christians to prove there is no GOD yet why is it you cannot prove there is no GOD?????

well on your computer you have 'icons' and you arn't allowed to worship false icons infact your ment to shun icons all together so why click on them, your doing what they want, are they from the devil?

well actually i ask this because it reminds me of when i worked in tech support, this guy who (this was the 90's and the thing was new to him) phoned up and started ranting down the phone 'I can't get my computer to work' 'ok whats the problem sir?' 'well it logs in that fine but then none of the programs open' 'ok and how are you opening them' 'shouldn't they load by themselfs? 'no sir you have to click on one of the icons' then he exploded 'I'M NOT DOING THAT HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME CLICK ON AN ICON, I AM A GOD FEARING PERSON AND I WILL NOT SUBMIT TO YOU ICON'S' 'ok then, just click on the little picture infont of you labeled 'word' 'thanks its working now'

I mean.. semetic people are basically orginal Arabs.. regardless of the religion... some non-arab jews claim to be semetic when i (a muslim) am more semetic than they will ever be...

and how can jews call arabs anti-semetic.. it makes no sense to be anti-youself..

or is it just a word they used to create this idiology that people who hate jews are really bad no matter what the jews do to them???

Please give me your opinion on this matter... and lol.. a star can't hurt either... ;P

Since the Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus won't come back until the very few people who take the communion die, why not just kill the few people who takes the communion at the Kingdom Hall so Jesus can hurry up and come back?
Funny thought huh?

Check out the Youtube for yourself.

Richard Dawkins is dumbfounded after being asked to "give an example of a genetic mutation or an evolutionary process which can be seen to increase the information in the genome" - quite a reasonable question that one would expect Oxford University's Professor for the Public Understanding of Science - so adamant in his belief in evolution - could and would provide an answer for.

I was reading the bible today and stopped at this scripture:

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Titus%203%20:9;&version=9;

It seems to me that I can apply it to some people on the Internet. What is your opinion on this?

Can a bible verse mean different things to different people and can both things be correct?
