There are times when I wish they'd do a quick search and see someone has already asked the same thing. That's especially true with the "If we came from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?" type of question.

Then again, that's true for a lot of silly questions asked by people of all belief systems (or lack thereof) and not just in this forum, either. A waste of bandwidth is a waste of bandwidth, no matter who's doing it.

Bottom line, though, is that it's their right to ask whatever they please, as long as it's within Yahoo guidelines.

No not at all. Why should I be ashamed for something someone else asks? Maybe to you it's silly, maybe to others it's not so silly. You might as well ask the same question to Atheists, more often than not I see them ask not only silly but absurd questions, half the time they are not even asking a question it's just some bizarre rant I've seen Christians and other do this also. And maybe for the person asking it is a serious question.

Not really. Christianity is a journey. Once you've accepted Christ, you continue to learn about his purpose for you and by spreading his word, you become better at communicating his message. We're not born great soldiers for Christ. Just like all things, you get better the more you do it. I just hope those people realize this and are always re-examining how they approach people and what they say to them.

A little, although I don't think it personally reflects on me.

I think my contributions have been more or less adequate, and I take heart in the fact that at least those of my denomination (Catholic) tend to post questions and responses that are serious and reflective.

I question some of their questions, just as I sometimes question what other people of different or no religion post.

No, because I'm not the one who posted them. They don't represent me.
