Ok, my question was deleted, and I think it was due to misunderstanding. I asked, "I'm goin' to hell, who's comin' with me?" It was deleted...I seriously want to know how many people out there are so tired of all these self-righteous rules and BS expectations, that they just don't care anymore what the relgious community thinks? All thoughts on god/existance aside, where are the rebels without a cause at? So again, I ask...I'm goin' to hell...who's comin' with me?

This young woman was stabbed, bleeding, dying on the floor and shoppers stepped over and around her eating snacks and taking pictures. I know incidents like this have happened before, but it chills me when it keeps happening. How do we overcome such a mindset as a society? Does anyone have any comments on this horrible event?

Just a week ago i was a non-believer and i was hurling all over
those annoying christians. Right now i go to church every week
and praise the Lord Jesus Christ every night!! You might wonder what happened? The thing is that a missionary came
to me and conviced me to convert. At first i just gave him a mocking smile and told him to keep walking. Well he insisted on hearing him out so i spared him a few minutes. All he told me to do was to open up to Jesus and pray whenever i had a problem. Well i did that and Jesus helped me pass my math test. I mean i totally sucked on my tests and now i got a B+. My word to you is to stay away from those missionaries. I am infected and has turned into one of them!!! Do not let the Christian rage infection take over the world!!! Help me and
find a cure for me before the virus will spread through out the world!!!!!!

Free-will obviously allows man to choose alternatives to being good and doing right.....aren't the alternatives to good and right known as "evil, sin & wrong"?

I appreciate everyone's answers. But none of you answered this simple question.

As far as God wanting "robots"....well didn't he demand unquestioned obedience from Adam & Eve?
Aren't the Ten Commandments....ahhhh. ...commandments?
Aren't all the edicts of the Bible known as "laws of God" that must be obeyed?...with the penalty eternal damnation and suffering?

BTW I see robots very much in God's vision. I see robots in the American Christian Taliban and the Islamic Fundamentalist Jihad suicide terrorists. I see Rush Limbaugh dittoheads and 700 Club robots everywhere....I see robots in the Branch Davidians and the FBI-ATF agents. I see robots in the US military and the insurgents in Iraq...in fact I see robots everywhere..what they have in common ...is they all think THEY are God's robots.

It all started 8 years ago. My friend and I were in a movie and my friend had a complte meltdown. I had to bring her out of the movie. I asked her what was wrong and she admitted to me that a scene in that movie made her have a horrible flash back. When I asked her what she admitted to me that she had been molested by he uncle since she was 7for 8 years . I couldn't beleive it. She told her parents and they confronted her Uncle and Aunt about it who denied it. Her parents brought them to court but they lost because they couldn't prove that is happened. Pretty much their entire family disowned her and her parents after that. Then my friend came out and said she was lesbian. Then she tried to kill herself& she almost died. Now she is having a gender change and she is becoming a man. Ive tried to stick by my friend this entire time but it is so hard because her family is having a very hard time accepting her sex change and thearapy does not help her I feel like I have to be her family and

Deleted Question: did god committed suicide ,if jesus is god cuz he sent his self to be killed for our sins?

Question Details: wouldn't he go to hell for that

yes its not mainstream but it has merit ,cuz the religious section claims that jesus and god are the same person

thus he sent his self to be killed( if jesus and god are the same person) and as far as I know when you do something knowing your going to die its called suicide no mater what your reason for killing your self

if you dont like my question don't anwser it,,,,It is a very logical question

to my question. It wasn't my intention and perhaps I should've worded it better. The reason I singled out Christians is because based on my observation on this board, "some" Christians seem to be the one who spout of at the mouth about "the truth" and try to cram it down other people's throat as if everyone should just shut up and accept it, but yet when atheist or other religion begs to differ, they lash out with insults much like the one I got on my first question.

And no, this is not a new phenomena for me (as one poster suggested). I didn't claim it was. I'm 17 and was raised a Christian (now an atheist) so I know that this kind of thing happens and it has happened to me on numerous occasions in our church.

All I was trying to convey is that "your truth" may not be the same as "my truth" and to please refrain from judging others because they don't believe in the same thing as you do.

Naturally, there is little need for most of us to ever slaughter a rare game animal or endangered species, I mainly speak of the everyday pestilences we face from flies, ants, spiders, roaches, etc.

Plus, if a rabid cat was hissing and advancing toward you, and there was no viable escape, but you had a baseball bat, would you try and negotioate with the cat? Or would you grab the bat and think about PETA later? I'm just curious.

Final query, optional: Why do some people but the rights of insects and animals over humans? I don't think either of us trumps the other...but they have their environment and we have ours. Sorry, I don't find a brown recluse spider cute and cuddly and a candidate to just run about my home unchecked.
