If I look at Marriage & Divorce catagories here, most questions relate to sex. if I look at Religion & spiritual catagories here, most questions are directed toward debates
between Christians/Athieists. My question is;

If a Christian and an Athieist have sex, will the rest of Humanity cease to exist? ( and don't tell me it's already happened, because obviously it hasn't).

Mary is not devine and she cannot save you. Yes she was blessed by having favor with God to give birth to Jesus, but why do some of you worship her like she is God. Mary does not want worship. We were told not to worship angels as well.And why do some of you have statues of Mary in your church and worship a statue? That is called Idolitry. Jesus can give us healing, and save us. Mary cannot. So why do some of you cathlics woship Mary who cannot save your souls? You are to go straight to Jesus, Jesus said he is the "way, truth and the light, and nobody comes to the Father except through me" Jesus did not say nobody comes to the Father except through Mary. Just curious.

I was just utterly stunned by a few of the answers to the linked question, and am wondering how anyone could possibly arrive at the conclusion that a 4-year-old child could be responsible for his own death. Would you mind looking over some of the answers and voicing your opinions on the whole matter, but particularly the 'dumb kid' remarks?

Leviticus 12:2
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
Leviticus 12:5
But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.
A woman who gives birth to a child must undergo a purification ritual lest her "uncleanness" contaminate others. This not only entails her isolation, but also payments to priests for the ritual acts. Thus the male dominators had even made birth dirty.
Notice here that if a woman bears a female child, her isolation must last twice as long as that if she gives birth to a male child! (See also Psalms 51:3-5)

Hoping ImACatholic2 can jump in on this question.

I'm not Catholic. I know quite a bit about Catholicism, but I'm Protestant (United Methodist). Because of this, I never really looked TOO deeply into this docterine since Protestants do not accept it. Anyway....

What's the history of the Immaculate Conception docterine? I know it was made an official teaching by the Catholic Church during Pope Pius IX on December 8, 1854 (? Not sure about the exact year, but think that's right) But there has to be a longer discussion about it than that.

Did the Church Fathers have anything to say about it? What about different Theologians (i.e. Aquinas) before then?

If he created the universe, isn't it a bit weird that he he needs such insignificant creatures serving him?

What are we possibly able to do that a "creator" would need help with?

Does he just need a bunch of creatures feeding his ego or something?

Why is it a person can kill 50 people but became a Christian and supposly go to Heaven.But someone who Cures people and be the nicest person in the world but doesn't believe in God is cursed to Dammnation. This doesn't seem fair to me

Given: God is all powerful, and He is therefore capable of everything He wants.

Question: Can God create a rock heavy enough He Himself can't lift it? If He can't create that rock, he is not capable of everything. And if He can create a rock He Himself can't lift, He ain't all that mighty either.

When you look at it from the atheist perspective, the fact that we are alive needs no reason. It's just wonderful to accept that we ARE alive.........and one day we'll die.

Why should it need meaning?

I've never understood why people expect life to have a meaning, even as a young kid.

If you're looking for a REASON to be here, isn't survival of the species enough?

Ok. I am not pulling your legs.

But I had this dream.

In my dream there was a potrait of the Lord Jesus( The Sacred Heart).

My mum comes to me and tells me..."Hey why does the Lord look upset/angry".

Then someone else ( I don't know) tells me that the Lord doesn't like to be worshipped in/as potraits.

So got any message in my dream?

I don't have any Potrait of the Lord...only a Crucifix and a bottle of our Lady of Good Health. They are in my cupboard. Cos in my family everyone are Hindus and no one knows that I have already started my journey to being a Christian. So I have to pray in secrecy.

That the corpse of Muhammad will in the near future be blown up into bits and desecrated due to the mounting division amongst the muslims and the others.

Your Imam-Mehdi or Al Dajal (a muslim who fears for the total chaos due to the loss of the corpse) will then appear to claim himself as the resurrection of muhammad to bring the muslims together against the Jews & Christians and more importantly to imitate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

That is when the whore of Babylon (we all know who that is), will stand and support the Anti-Christs (ie. muslims) and the Armageddon will take place.
