Because, most of christians are at a point where they cannot believe it. I mean literally in shock that there are people out there that do not believe, and i used to be one of them. Then i stopped believing, and now I am back, but it is a lot easier not to believe than one thinks. My opinion is that God does exist, and yours is not. The question is which one is right? We do not know, so until we do, all opinions could be right.

You're entitled to your opinion, so I'm not offended. But for the record, God does exist. And it 's a pretty big deal.

It has been said the devil's greatest con is that 'he' has conviced the world 'he' doesn't exist. That is a great con. Because 'he' does exist; as surely as the monitor you are staring at exists; and he will use all the arsenal at 'his' disposal to manipulate you. How do I know this you may ask. Just as I know that I will see my Savior - the BIBLE - the inerrant document of our Lords' word to guide us on our journey. It may not seem as exciting as the theory of relativity or quantum physics; but it really is more exciting. You are not forced to believe; that is the catch ----- you have to make a concentrated effort. God doesn't make you know he exists; 'he' give you the luxury of choosing to know he exists - let the philosophers among us sort that one out. I wish you only the best on your journey toward salvation; and I will pray you choose the true path. God bless you.

Hi
It is because we have a good percentage of people here that BELIEVE with all their souls that God DOES exist. That He sent his only begotten Son to save of us from our self's.It wouldn't matter if it was with the big "G" or little "g" People believe in what they do. If you have ever watched a debate or trial, you know that the burden of proof lies with the person affirming it. In other words, the person who claims something to be true or acceptable must prove it; the person denying it can win the debate or trial without even saying a word if the person affirming fails to prove it conclusively. You have to find it in what you truly believe. That's what a God is all about.
Having something of a higher force to believe in.
So there is no need for proof. You believe, You do your best and live your life accordingly.
So when people say this as you have. Many who believe want to reach out and share with them, try to show the Light to people who are darkness. It is an argumentative statement you see. And people want to defend Whom they believe in as He would not deny us we will Never Deny Him.
So to comment when they see this is to stand up for Whom they believe in.
You wanted to create animosity with in good hearted people and that my friend is really a loss for you. In more ways then you can ever imagine.

It's a response to the problems created by those who are not real. If you saw a person fooled by internet fraud would you warn them it was not real? Another example comes to mind .When I was guarding an abortion clinic because some people thought god wanted them to murder the Dr.s . should someone have told them?
peace

To you denying the existence of God is no big deal now with your eyes blinded by satan's deceptive lies, but it will be a huge deal when Jesus returns and everyone's eyes are opened as they SEE Jesus in all His glory and bow to Him and on their knees claim that He Truly is The Son of God who will judge them. I realize this may not mean anything to you since you do not believe this, but your not believing, does not negate it's happening. Read God's Word and may God open your eyes before it's too late for you. We care about you, honestly.

I don't know why people get offended.
I also know that you can't prove God's existence any more than I can prove He does.
All the writing, retort, rebuke, challenge, ridicule, etc. I have seen on this site doesn't het us any closer to the proof of God's existence.
If you believe as you do - OK. But, keep this is mind - if God does exist - then you will not like what's in store for you after you die.
I wish you well.

He obviously does
Take a look around you today when you go outside.
Look up to the sky, look at the trees etc
In order for there to be a design
there has to be a designer
In order for there to be a Creation
There has to be a Creator.
The Bible says
Man is without excuse for not knowing God.

I dont think people get offended but rather pity you for your state of mind.
It takes a lot of serious effort and I am sure you will realise sooner than you imagined that God is present.

Yes I never really got that. Christians have no problem denyinig the existance of thousands of other people's "gods", but when you deny the existance of their "God", they get ready to kill you.
