Leviticus 12:2
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
Leviticus 12:5
But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.
A woman who gives birth to a child must undergo a purification ritual lest her "uncleanness" contaminate others. This not only entails her isolation, but also payments to priests for the ritual acts. Thus the male dominators had even made birth dirty.
Notice here that if a woman bears a female child, her isolation must last twice as long as that if she gives birth to a male child! (See also Psalms 51:3-5)

lots of religions and cultures think women are dirty and below men...not just the bible. that how it was in the past...100% man power and the woman was a mans slave/property. even lots of primitve tibal people wont touch a woman who is on her period because its "dirty", shows how much the past knows.

its a well factor those regulations had been taken away while christ died, isnt it? i gave start to a son through c-phase and if i had been deemed unclean and nobody might contact me.... shoooooo! i could simply truthfully BE unclean, if you recognize what im sayin' ;) and eden, no longer extra lucrative within the feel you're considering. you're announcing it as though ladies had been nugatory, which they werent, they simply have a some distance distinctive location within the household/loved ones than a person. and it IS the ancient testomony, it used to be stuffed with cleaning and purifying rituals when you consider that christ hadnt come and died but. as soon as he did the bible evidently suggests that you'll be able to pray for forgiveness and obtain it with out sacrificing or being separated for being unclean. christ got here down for that very motive. to avoid wasting us from having to die a bad demise. you dont have got to consider it, however the truth of the bible is that.

Leviticus 11-15 is talking about precautions - what animals to avoid and how to treat "unclean" skin disease, mildewed clothing or walls and bodily emissions.
I see you're still stuck in the Old Testament and still come up with the wrong answers.

Yep I do see... I will have to find exactly what that is saying...

however I know the basis of it comes down to hygiene, women bleed a lot of child birth and in the dessert Libra wasn't there... no pads... eww so they had to go away and bleed outside the camp so the rest wouldn't get sick from being around stagnet blood... etc...

I'm not a Christian, but I'm always stunned at the number of people who don't realize that Christianity has moved into the 21st century with us, and no longer believes in the utter truth and accuracy of the Bible (with very rare exceptions), while other religions, such as Islam, still do believe in the utter truth and accuracy of the their holy texts (including the Old Testament) (with very rare exceptions).

The fact that they attack Christianity and not Islam is either due to an extreme lack of knowledge of Islam, or they simply realize that Christians don't usually attack back.

Kind of needy person needed to do that, wouldn't you think? And one who argues things that Christians are going, "What is he arguing? How many centuries back is that? Should we answer him or write it off as another anti-Christian nut (vs. those that actually argue using modern Christianity and real issues)."

Silly.

Women are penalized in every culture of the world. It is not unique to Christianity.
Islam claims to value women equally but it is a big lie.
