I do not exactly know but...

Energise your faith would mean to read your Bible, say "faith comes by hearing the Word of God".
Expect a blessing would mean something like ...
Expect something Good from God, as He is the one who does bless those "diligently seek Him".

Blessings to you.....

To me it means there are way too many preaching and teaching that (God) owes you something. (prosperity message)

It is as if getting eternal life by doing what the Bible says is not enough,

The Bible says (if) you do this and (if) you do that, then (this) is what I will give you (eternal life).

But people like to say "hey, I am doing this, that and the other thing now, not only do I demand the (eternal) life you promised, I demand all these (extra) blessings for doing what you said to do in the first place".

People need to wake up and understand (GOD OWES US NOTHING) and He never promised a rose garden here on Earth.

I means to free your mind of all your preconceived notions and realize that each and EVERY moment in life is Unique and you do NOT know what is going to happen and when...therefore, continue to Work in Faith (your own vision) and you will work your way to your Blessing...which is the harvest or result of your Work.
