I am not really sure what you mean by a "self directed" life but if that is a life without a Supreme Being to guide us , then I wouldn't get very far. My Faith permeates every aspect of my mundane life---by that I mean, God/Goddess is my comfort, inspiration, strength, source of wisdom, my center and my hope for the future. Life would be quite dark without a belief in a Higher Power. Blessings.

You better have a self directed life.
it's your life.
if you let others direct you. you will not have a life.
as far as you want. the sky is the unlimited. go for it. but don't tread to far. and forget to actually live you r life. you never know it could be a short one. just enjoy your life.

anyone and everyone is self directed, you just have to have the initiative to move down your own path. it just depends if your path includes god, another person or mother earth.
