My wife is Catholic, I am a jack-Mormon.

In prayers, Mormons will say, "God we love thy ..... and we ask thee....."

Why is this?

In the washing and anointing ritual done in the temple, Satin is asked by Adam what the symbols mean on this apron. (These are Temple workers doing a reinactment) Satin replies, "It is the emblem of my power and priesthoods." Who is going to be the first Mormon to deny this happens along with other Satanic rituals done in the Temple such as taking an oath of death, where you pretend you are slashing your own throat and disembowling yourself? Real Christianlike huh?

They preach heaven is such a great place, but they are always trying to prolong their lives here on this evil planet we all live on!

Doesn't make sense to me!

If the whole world became Christian and prayed for everlasting peace on earth, wouldn't that cause judgment day to never happen and therefore make your God wrong?

but it is getting irritating at the way atheists answer questions on here.

They insult, ridicule, curse, and become arrogant jerks that think they are better and smarter than anyone that believes in God, but mainly Christians.

They even answer questions that aren't addressed to them, as they probably will this one.

My irritation got the best of me on the last question, I admit.

Does praying help,,,? What if Some Big Bad Wolf came along and wanted to kill you. Would you drop to your knees and start prEying (bagging) for your life, and you died anyway...

In the time of Saul the Holy Spirit did not always strive with man.. but in today's NW testament times does the Spirit LEAVE US..does the LORD leave us even though He said He will NEVER leave us?

Does departing from the Faith MEAN that the Spirit will leave us?

No matter what your faith, do you have a feeling that something is going to happen soon? My husband and I feel this building of thought that another terrorist attack here in the States will happen soon. It's just a feeling, and it is probably irrational. Following my last question about rape and abortion I was informed by several individuals that I 'wanted' it including a man who asked me if I 'came'. Two rapes: first one age 12 Second one: stranger broke into my apartment.......what did I do to 'invite' that? We've got some very callous people here. as you all know the date 7/7/07 is coming up. Well, a lot of people think that its Gods number..... if you read Revelations it has a lot of 7's..... well, on this day..... All the Christians around the World will be fasting and praying!!! Please pray!! its for all the lost souls and not only them... but every one!!!!!
