Okay... let me help you with this one.
1. We are all a tad bit afraid of death... because we do not truly understand what will happen when we die. That includes Christians. I do not want to die, or suffer....or have pain. When sin entered the world...death became an inevitable part of it. What you are doing...is asking about things you are hearing from other people...but, you are not reading the book that these people are reading. You are getting only pieces of the story...and, it is confusing you.
2. However...I am not afraid - in a sense - of what will happen after death. I have the assurance of Jesus' sacrifice for me, that covers my sins.
3. The whole world is not going to be saved... we would like it to... but, scripture is clear that the road is narrow, and few will choose to take that path. God has made it quite clear that the judgement day will come.
You have some very real and legitimate questions... I would humbly suggest to you that you study the bible. It will answer the questions you have about it... and, you will have many more questions to boot.

Religious people have a right to form a prayer group if they so desire. The Bible says that believers ought to get together to worship God and to pray.
I know of no group who has prayed speicfically to keep the world from ending. Can you give some examples of groups who have done this? Where have you found such groups?
I am not afraid of death, and I am a Christian. I don't know of any Christians who are afraid.
. Surely you do not feel as though Christians or any other group should be prohibited from getting together.
Are you really miserable? I noticed your name is Misery.
I'm sorry if you feel that way.

Pardon me if I'm a bit confused here. My church does have some prayer groups (rosary groups, Divine Mercy chaplet, novenas and so forth), but none it has to do with staving off the end of the world. I personally don't see this planet as "evil", and I certainly never viewed praying for peace as a mechanism for putting off the final judgment. Like any other sane human being, I'd like to live as long and as painlessly as possible, but I realize that my stay here is temporary. When the end comes, whether tomorrow or when I'm over 100 years old, I've had a good run, and have enjoyed myself. Death is the great unknown, and I like to think of it as the next big adventure, rather than some horrifying event to be dreaded and avoided. However, I do hope that when I go, it's as pain-free as possible, but it's just basic human nature to wish that. As for Judgment Day, that will happen regardless of what I do, as that is foreordained by God and I have no say in the matter.

I can see your point. For some religious people, you are probably even right! But not for most. The fact is that prayers to save the world are not to protect us from death. They are not to prevent judgement day, or anything of the sort. The fact is that most Christians are simply compassionate and caring people who want the best for everyone. God sent us (Christian and non-Christian alike) down here to make the best of our lives. He wants us to be good and peaceful people. No doubt there are those who use God as an excuse for intolerance and war, but those people are merely a loud and obnoxious minority. Most Christians pray to save the world out of the compassion they were given to be good people. In other words, they are not praying to save themselves from death or judgement. They are praying to save YOU.

common primary flu kills greater human beings each and every twelve months than this. this is purely yet another form of flu, there have constantly been ailments like this and there probable constantly would be, this is purely how this is. we at the instant are not the only existence in the international, we at the instant are not exempt from the organic combat for survival, even however we attempt to be. There seem maximum of non secular communities at present that purely won't be able to watch for the tip of the international, leaping on each and every little element and attempting to cajole people who it suits some little bit of prophesy.i hit upon this innovations-set of having a deathwish for the international, very unhappy and unusual.

I think you are looking at this from the wrong perspective and certainly not from the perspective of Christians. Christians do not want the earth to end out of charity towards those who have not yet come to faith. Prolonging the Parousia gives time for those who are still living in sin and are not repentent of their sins to have a change of heart or to respond to the Spirit calling them.
Christians are not afraid of death for themselves but for those who will be thrown into the lake of fire instead of the promise of eternity in heaven. It is out of love that we pray for time and charity of God towards others.
In Christ

yes, christians ARE afraid of death, because christians created hell - so shall they go there, to burn in their own hell;
christians DO NOT go to Heaven;
Here's the simply Solution for christians and religion:
Eliminate religion from Your Life, A.S.A.P.;
Freedom of religion is Freedom FROM religion; religion is Spiritual fraud;
Universal Truth eliminated religion from Spirituality a long time ago;
Accomplish this:
Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save Your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs and start Your journey back home, to Heaven.
<<<<<<< UnConditional Love is the only answer >>>>>>>
Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.
Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

Phillipians 1:23 I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better. 24But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account. 25Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith, 26so that in me you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus, because of my coming to you again.
I pray for the Lord's return. But He waits patiently for sinner to repent. He wishes none to parish but have everlasting life.

If they truly believed in the paradise waiting in the afterlife, there wouldn't be any Christians scared of death. They also would protest abortion, or try to stop Gays from getting hitched, none of that stuff would matter.
But they don't
