No, woman deserves to be raped, not once or multiple times. Not even the prostitute or the woman who is very sexual active. Now the prostitute will have a harder time proving she was forcefully raped and it was not theft of service, and only she may know, but no one has the right to rape another and no one deserves to be raped. no, means no, no matter what.
I tried to help a lady one time who believed she deserved the multiple rapes she had received simply because she was drunk and walking alone each time in a bad neighborhood.
I had to explain that she made some bad choices, that lead her to be in a situation that caused the rape, but she did not deserve it and the men who took advantage of her would have gone to jail if she had reported them..
I may be wrong, but to me, when anyone says a woman deserved to be raped, they are saying the man had a right to rape her.
No man has that right not even her husband. There was a time when men could rape their wives simply because they were married to them, but not anymore..

There are some very immature and mean people here and I'm so sorry you had to read that nonsense from them. I know exactly how you feel because I was molested by a neighbor when I was 8 years old and raped by a "date" when I was 19. I felt used and dirty and disgusting, especially when I went to the police about the date rape and they didn't believe me. They kept asking me questions about how I was acting and what I was wearing as though those could be excuses for rape. It took me such a long time after that to trust anyone or be able to let anyone touch me in any way! I needed years of therapy. Please do not listen to any of the morons who said such horrible things. Take the time to grieve for what was lost and never forget, but try to move on and learn to trust again. If you would like someone to talk to, e-mail me.

I don't think anyone deserves to be raped. I am sorry you had to go through something so horrible at all and more than once. Don't let lame people get you down they obviously have no compassion, and they don't know how it feels. I personally do not agree with abortion, but given the circumstances you should not have to raise a child, (there is always the option of adoption.) But I do not judge you, it would be wrong of me to, you did what was right for you and that is what is important.

I send you virtual hugs. I cannot believe anyone would say these things to you. Try to ignore these people.
I agree with you. There are some very callous, cruel people here.
No one who is sane would truly think that anyone deserves to be raped!
For the person who said that all the callous people who said that you deserved this were Christians, you are WAY off base. I am a Christian.
No Christian I know would ever think such a thing.

I didn't see your last question, but yes, there are some very callous jerks on Y!A. I've learned to really not expect much compassion on here. And no, I don't think anyone ever deserves to be raped, no matter how they dress or act or anything.

I was raped before the age of 1yr. I deserved that right? I don't care if a woman is bare naked lying in the street, if she says no, and it happens anyway, IT IS RAPE, PERIOD. And it's wrong guys!!!
Men can be raped too. Our bodies respond to sexual triggers whether we want them to or not. So if a guy is hard, and he's been honestly begging for the sex to stop. Really meaning he does not want it. And a woman takes advantage of his hard-on, has he not been raped?
It's just easier to rape a woman. And guess what folks.
It is not about sex, it's about VIOLENCE...get real and grow up. And I mean that in the nicest possible way.
Peace

Rape has nothing to do with desire and has everything to do with controlling the victim. It's not brought on by an inability to control sexual impulses or invited by the way you dress.
I'm very sorry that happened to you and even more so for the reaction to your question. No one on the planet, besides a fellow victim, could even imagine what you've gone and are going through. No amount of criticism or blame could possibly match what you, in all likelihood, put on yourself.

I'm sorry you suffered through those things... you have be careful on the internet, there are many childish insensitive people here.
You have been handed a bad deck of cards, nothing more, nothing less. On the bright side though... the rest of your life could be better than anyone you know! If you want to have good chances of that, you'll probably need some good friends, and possibly... (I hate the word)... counseling.

You sound like a strong, smart woman, who is outwitting those rapists. People rape in order to have power over other people. It's so nice to know that these weak men did not get the best of you. You are not letting them. You came out a winner. You are a great role model. Keep it up! Encourage others!

I didn't see your prior question, but I can assure you, no one asks to be raped. Personally, I think that all child molesters should get the death penalty, and I can't even imagine anyone saying the things you're accusing people of saying. If anyone did say crap like that, they ought to be flogged. Not that flogging would suddenly give anyone common sense, but it might make stupid people think before uttering stupidity next time.
