i read the quran couple of times before but i couldnt understand cause i dont know arabic. i got the translation now and i started reading it, but it will take too long for me to finish it. So i need to ask u all muslim brothers and sisters that is there anything like this in quran that all non-muslims will go to hell, no matter how good things they do and even if they believe in one god, nobody else, and compares no one with him and passes his life doing all the good things having always good intention in mind, eve though he is not a muslim.
IS IT TRUE? or it is noted there they will also be rewarded for their good deeds.
if u know about this, please tell me and give me what sura have u got it from.
jazakallah khair

In Matthew 24: 36 it says Jesus doesn't know when the end of the world is, only his father. How can that be if he's the same thing as God?

Okay, based on your answers to my first question I don't think I stated my original quesiton correctly. Apparently what I think intelligent design is, is not what you think it is. What I am trying to say is by taking the intelligent designer option out of the equation you are teaching that God doesn't exist. Am I wrong in thinking that? That's what I have a problem with.

Technically there isn't really anything to teach. What I have in mind is to teach evolution, and then say "some people think a god started the process, and moved it along, and some people don't." That's it. Evolution and the Big Bang Theory may be true, but they still don't explain the origin of the universe.

How is God merciful?
How is God omniscient?
What indication, even in the Bible, is there that God loves us and really has our welfare in mind?
How is Hell even an option for a kind, loving God?

Now, I know there will be those who get on me for "blaming" a God I don't believe in, but that's not what I'm doing. I'm asking for believers to explain these things.

Thanks! =0)

If you're willing, please have a look at the following essay, and offer your opinion on the argument the author makes...

Serious posters only, please -- I'd like a serious dialogue about the SUBSTANCE of the argument, not a flame war or "ad hominem" attacks of one side or the other....

Some Christians say God put evil tree in the garden because he wanted to see if people would obey him. Why would he need to run a test to know that? Wasn't he supposed to be outside of time and able to see the future?

The majority of people who live in the USA are Christians. Why does a minority, like Atheists, able to force our Government to change our laws to limit Christian rights and free speech, when it is evident that our Country was formed by Christians, for Christians. Our Country was blessed in the past. Why risk losing the favor of God, by kicking Him out of our Country, our Schools, our Government, our Families, and our Lives. Our Country has slid downhill ever since we elimitated prayer from our schools. See www.wallbuilders.org for the evidence. Why change things if they are not broken?

God already knows what's wisper on people mind and Heart. and He is talking to you thru these verses from the Quran:

NOTICE: notice the word "tales".

Quran Ch6
[25] And of them there are some who listen to you; but We have set veils on their hearts, so they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; and even if they see every one of the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) they will not believe therein; to the point that when they come to you to argue with you, the disbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the men of old."

Quran ch8
[31] And when Our Verses are recited to them, they say: "We have heard this, if we wish we can say the like of this. This is nothing but the tales of the ancients."

Quran ch23
[83] "Verily, this we have been promised - we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!"

Please quote specific scripture that mentions Native Americans, the western hemisphere, the grand canyon, ANY proof that God gave evidence of this half of the world existing before it was "discovered".

I will convert today if you can show me that there is any evidence that the authors of the Bible knew about the other 90 million people living here at the time.

Thanks!
