The world won't end, although humanity will. All species on earth come to an end at one point or another, over 90% of the species that have ever been on this planet have already become extinct. As for when it will end, I'd like to guess around 3200 CE. By then the next Ice Age due to global warming will have wiped out the last of the humans. Yes, I'm also a big nerd.

The world's problems are almost overwhelming—and not just because of the wars and conflicts that grab the headlines. Every day, millions of people all over the world face a host of other disasters: famine, disease, economic chaos, racism, ecological and natural catastrophes, and so forth.
Do these mean Jesus' second coming is very near? It certainly may be, because He indicated that just before He comes again the world 's problems will increase. While these problems are part of every age, the Bible says they will increase in intensity toward the end.
The only final answer to our problems is Jesus Christ, for when He comes again, He will rule the world with perfect justice and peace. In that day, the Bible says, "He will reign ... with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever" (Isaiah 9:7).
The Bible cautions us against trying to set the date for Jesus' second coming. But it also urges us to be ready and watchful "while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:13). Are you ready for that day? You can be, by committing your life to Christ today.

no one knoes when the world is going to end but lots of ppl including me think its going to be very soon becuz the world is getting worse and worse every day and some of the things that the Bible talks bout in the End Times r happening rite now so thats bout all i can say...
