Scenario: Anti-Christ comes and says, "All the worlds religions must become one because none of you can agree so let me choose your religious leader to bring peace. We will have a religion that all can believe in"

To prevent this from happening....please, please develop your own personal relationship with God and forget what an individual religion says to believe. God will lead you and will not allow you to be deceived. This will be true even if every individual believes something different.

It is clear to me that there are two major camps among you atheists. Those who say if God would prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he exist you would accept him or at least invite Him in for a chat. Then there are those who say they would still reject Him to His face. This second group have issues that go back to how they interpret the Bible.
God was never blood thirsty. When men and women are left to their own devices the inner bad nature soon surfaces with a vegence and they begin to spread violence on the scale of genecide.
All God did was stop them.
If terrorists were going door to door killing folk on your street I don't think you would have a problem with God taking care of that little problem would you?

I've just watched a question about evolution and creationism get dominated by people asserting Christianity, so I wanted to ask everyone to solve a problem for me.

When I ask people why they believe in the Bible people say "because it's the word of God" so I ask them, why do you believe in God and they say "because of what it says in the Bible".

That looks like a circular belief system which I presume a lot of people are stuck in and it's easier to carry along with it than challenge a big part of one's identity.

My question is, what am I missing? I'll happily believe in the extraordinary if you'll give me some extraordinary proof.

Is there some human trait that promotes having to be a member of some group in order to authenticate ones beliefs?

From what I understand homosexuality WAS a sin b/c...
1. Young boys were getting raped by men ("Lets make it an abomination ... done!")
2. The world WAS in dire need of procreation, which gay's could no do.

Obviously, today it dosent matter the sexual orientation of people when it comes to molestation, it happens within all orientations!

We're OVERPOPULATED as it is! So THAT reason wouldnt apply today.

So, why is it a sin TODAY?

I'm young. I'm 18.
I am confused about my beliefs.
I do believe there is a God, but I believe in evolution.
I dont agree with christianity, or muslim beliefs, they just don't match with me...

The point is I don't have a religion, but I believe in God.
What is this called ?

I tell my pastor I have been seeking for 6 yrs unto God for his ways and power and rightousness. Of course I belive a man can become perfect, to show Jesus was not needed to be sacraficed. This is how I love the blood. My pastor said you are going down the worng path to pray to God and trust in him. I AM your pastor hear my voice and follow my direction. That is his direct response. See I belieave God can say that it is impossible for him to make me perfect. So I wait and ask for perfection by his hand. God can stop me anytime, but all he does is get my spirit to move forward and fight with the pastor and christians. So if your pastor told you that your prayers to the living God are never going to be answered, or your pastor says that he is the voice of God and to only listen to him not your heart. How the heck am I as a Christian soppose to obey this man? When MY God OUR God, says that I can become perfect, I just have to hunger enough for his rightousness and holiness.

No one believed in Jesus (pbuh) until he got crucified or (lifted up to heaven according to my religion)........ Moses (pbuh) people believed him in his life time, same with Mohamed (pbuh) yet even though now you are all Jesus (pbuh) this that, no one believed in him.... so you are responsible for what happened right?

O.K. the style is combative. But if you can get past that there are some serious factual allegations, especially about the book of Abraham.

How do you respond to these facts?

I am 14 years old, an ordained minister at my church and in my jurisdiction. I started preaching when I was about 12, and I dont know why I did it, I just wanted to be up there and make people happy. Things have changed since then, and Ive realized by following a "religion" [christian], this has been turned into a chore instead of a blessing. I love God, and I always will, but I feel like this isnt for me. Everyone, however, when they hear me speak tell me that "God has a calling on my life and I shouldnt waste it". God talks to me too. Im missing everything he has to offer BY holding onto something thats not meant for me, and I feel like theres no out. Can someone help me prepare myself for that final say so, that I dont want to teach, but instead listen to the word?

Now I'm not saying whether these are right or wrong, I just want to hear what Mormons have to say about these things.

1. Mormons don't believe in Christ or atleast deny his divinity
2. Rev 22:19 means Mormons have added to the Bible.
3. Mormons practice polygamy
4. Mormons believe we are saved by works
5. They don't study or believe in the Bible
6. Mormons are racist, you only let whites in your church.

Please answer with evidence not assumptions and extremely biased stuff thanks.
