I'll answer you with a question, in some way goes with your question.

None of those prophets mentioned Muhammad, and it did not stop you from believing he was your prophet! Why is that? Would that stop you from believing in him?

Add: that question was not disrespect your faith, but to get you to ask question on the other side. What makes you believe in your prophet is in many way the same reason why they believe in the Trinit. You have to be in their shoes for a bit to understand, we all need to be for each others to understand each others.

We all like to believe what we wish, and disbelieve what we wish as well. We all learn from other humans, other humans just like us, not perfect. And we all pick and chose what we want. If you don't believe it. simple don't, and let those who do believe, to believe. Live and let live.

For those who gave me thumps up or down! thank you for reading. We need communication to understand one another.

This is because only Christians believe Jesus to be divine. Jews don't belive Jesus was the messiah while Muslims believe that Jesus was a man rather than the Son of God. Also, only Christians believe the Holy Spirit to be a seperate entity while also being a part of God, like Jesus. In Jewish usage this concept was never identified with a separate person, but with a Divine power which could fill men, as, for instance, the prophets. Most Islamic interpretations consider the Holy Spirit simply to be another name for the angel Gabriel.

Because we dont believe it. If we told you Jesus was not the messiah you wouldnt listen. Jews were around first, so why would we change a thousands of years tradition from spoken word? Believe what you want, but dont expect the whole world to listen.

Rev Kip - The moon God, WTF? and you're a non secular chief? Explains plenty with regard to the suggestions-set of a great form of Christians obtainable... *Shakes Head* Do you no longer comprehend that Muslims (and a great form of Jews) hint the origins of Islam returned to the 1st newborn of Abraham, who God additionally reported could the be the daddy of a great human beings? So do you carry it against Jesus that his mothers and dads weren't christian? because of the fact Mohammed based the religion, of path he replaced into born right into a distinctive one. and those loopy reference you made with regard to the pagan daughters he allegedly worshiped, you may desire to learn somewhat extra. Mohommed easily denouced all scripture bearing directly to them as "The Satanic Verses" and reported such ideals had no place in a monotheistic relgion. in any case, directly to answering the question. remember, I communicate of the wider Christian suggestions-set, and not the certainly faith itself which preaches tolerance of others... Christianity has by no potential enjoyed different religions. to contain Judaism. everybody keep in mind the Inquisition? Or the actuality that Pope John Paul II admitted that the church bore some duty for the holocaust because of the fact of it is intolerence of Jews? Ever heard the age previous tale that we use the blood of a christian harmless to make our passover matzah? Christians decide to piggy returned off of our faith so as that they have got a love hate relationship with us, yet standard can't denounce us because of the fact they did borrow our God and not any different way around. The right now out hate for Muslims comes from the actuality that mutually as Jews in basic terms could desire to get with this methodology, Islam replaced into formed after the dying and hoopla of Jesus. we don't decide to grandfather clause him in, yet they outright rejected him. Oh, that and Christians seem an intollerant lot because it extremely is (plenty to Jesus's chagrin, i'm effective).

I am a Christian but I do not believe in the trinity. I believe that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are seperate entities that think alike but have different purposes.

We don't know why...we only know that they were told of the coming of Christ. They chose not to believe that he was the Messiah.

The teaching of the Trinity can only be understood in the light of Christ. If you do not believe in him then you cannot understand or accept the Trinity.

The prophets could not reveal something that they themselves did not know. Jesus is the full revelation of God. Only with the coming of Jesus - and after his ascension, Pentecost - was the fullness of God's Word revealed.
