I always thought of grace as a white light that fills my soul with God's Love. It enables me to do much good when I thought I could not take, do or pray anymore. It gives me courage and strength to endure trials and sadness. But most of all grace gives me the joy of Faith.

It definitely is not a law otherwise it would not be grace. Grace is given from one person to another. For; a wrong, a slander, a stupidity, a mistake, a position, a denial, etc, etc....... In the case of God giving us grace, it is for all the above and more.
If you want a bigger grasp know that God's heart (motivation) is full of gentleness and humility, but the human heart is devoid of any true humility that is not learned or imitated. It is not there, it does not spring up like a well from within us, it is not naturally occurring. This difference of position and disposition is what we have called original sin. This is ultimately why God has saved us through His work completed on the cross. It was done for us as a grace contract written in blood for us who believe to hold on to come judgment day.

Grace comes from God Himself. Grace is universal, given freely to all. It is kindness, love, understanding, forgiveness, patience, advocacy, beauty, modesty, and many other things I cannot define.

Think of Mary, Jesus' mother who is full of grace, as the angel said.

Grace

Grace is getting something good that you don't deserve. Mercy, on the other hand, is not getting something bad that you do deserve.

The best way to understand the grace God gives to those who choose to repent and follow Christ is:

G od's
R iches
A t
C hrist's
E xpense

I struggled with this question for a long time. The term unmeritted favor, just never clicked with me. Then one day I seen the following on a T-Shirt and it is by far the best definition I have encountered.

God's
Riches
At
Christ's
Expense

Justification by faith = just as if I had never sinned. Only the sacrifical blood of Christ could have achieved that. It goes all the way back to the garden of Eden where God Himself had killed one of His own innocent creatures to cover the nakedness of the guilty ones of sin or disobiedience. Jesus was the ultimate of sinlessness, innocence, and obedience who died for you and me !!!

You recieving that act by faith is the full compliment of grace.

It's a fine, delicate structure of minute threads, woven into symmetrical patterns. This weave is often tougher than it looks and so is suitable for use at the tops of stockings, or the outer edges of intimate garments, to which it imparts an elegant femininity.

Oh... No, wait... that's LACE, isn't it...

Grace, biblically defined, is unmerited favor. A free gift that could not be earned.

Unless one understands karma, reincarnation, and no one goes to hell eternally , they can not understand the unlimited mercy, love and Grace of the Supreme Lord also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. God is unlimited and is grace is inconceivable. His pure devotees are His representatives such as Jeusus, (Yesuah) St Francis, Moses, Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada. They are examples of the epitome of Grace.
