4 followers? OMG THAT CHANGED THE WORLD

ok I am sorry if I did not express my self right..
my point
Jesus (pbuh) did not have a lot of followers before he was gone.... (thats the truth 15-20 people don't matter I am talking about a nation like Mohamed (pbuh) had a nation of Muslims or Moses (pbuh) had a nation of his people)

So do you feel guilty that if you had believed in him when he came to earth and not sinned then he would not have had to "sarifiece" him
self..

Interestingly enough, the muslims too do not believe in Jesus. In fact, they [Islam] do not Believe that Jesus is the son of the most high God [JHVH]. Neither do they reconised him as having died for the sins of the world. Nor do they believe Jesus will come and has been appointed as God's [JHVH] enthone king.

According to the Scriptures this is known to be the anti-Christ. A term that applies to all who deny what the Bible says about Jesus Christ, all who oppose his Kingdom, and all who mistreat his followers. It also includes individuals, organizations, and nations that falsely claim to represent Christ or that improperly ascribe to themselves the role of Messiah.

1 John 4:3: “Every inspired expression that does not confess Jesus does not originate with God. Furthermore, this is the antichrist’s inspired expression which you have heard was coming, and now it is already in the world.”

1 John 2:18: “Even now there have come to be many antichrists; from which fact we gain the knowledge that it is the last hour.” (By “last hour” John evidently meant the end of the apostolic period. The other apostles had died, and John himself was very old.)
Persons who deny that Jesus is truly the Messiah

1 John 2:22: “Who is the liar if it is not the one that denies that Jesus is the Christ [or, Messiah, anointed one]? This is the antichrist.”

All who deny that Jesus is the unique Son of God

1 John 2:22: “This is the antichrist, the one that denies the Father and the Son.” Compare John 10:36; Luke 9:35.

Individuals and nations that oppose Christ as King or that themselves falsely claim the Messianic role

Ps. 2:2: “The kings of earth take their stand and high officials themselves have massed together as one against Jehovah and against his anointed one [Christ, or Messiah].” (See also Revelation 17:3, 12-14; 19:11-21.)

Not exactly.

There were two primary beliefs in Judaism at the time;

that Sheol is just the grave and there is no after life, everyone dies and that is it. This view was held by the Sadducee. This belief is still fairly common although not as common as it was during the time of Christ.

that Sheol is a not very nice place where we spend eternity and that there is a heaven where we can also spend eternity.

One reason Christ died and came back to life was so that everyone would know that there is a heaven and a hell and most especially, a life after death.

Christ had a huge following during his time, but, Christ had to be rejected or the Torah would not have been distributed to the Gentiles.

Sure, some of the laws of the Torah would have filtered into the Gentile population the way they did in the Koran, but, the Torah itself would never have been distributed if Christ had not died.

For this reason Christ allowed himself to be rejected by those who did not believe that he was the Messiah, born to be rejected and spread the Torah to the Gentiles.

PS: There is also a kind of strange belief that everyone will get into heaven eventually, some just have to spend some time in Hell to "purify" themselves of their sins during their life time. There is no real scriptural basis for this belief, this is just something sinners who refuse to repent their sins want to believe.

None taken.

You speak of Moses, and Mohamed...those were men.

Jesus was God in the flesh, and yes, many believed and knew he was the messiah before he was crucified(The woman who felt his robe is an example). I think there were over 100 prophecies of the old testament that were validated when he came.

Now, in what form would YOU have wanted God to come to earth as...and alien?

Here is an example of how he was attempted to be set up and tricked by the Jews...

Adultery was a crime punishable by death in the Old testament...the Jewish leaders brought the adulterous woman before Jesus and stated;"the old testament states she must be stoned to death...what are you going to do?"
Jesus states(and God ALWAYS is MUCH smarter than you and I), yes, that is true...so he picks up a rock, and goes over to the Rabbi's..."let he who has never sinned throw the first stone"...they ALL sulked away...so he walks over to the woman..."where do your accusers now?" "I don't know" said the woman. "You are forgiven, I have redemned you(NOT judged you), now go and sin no more"

God wants freewill, not robots, blindly following. Now GO to the light...see your transgressions, what can you make right...and then become a light of the world. We have enough darkness at night already.

***You are blessed if you read this***
Gently I share, you did not get it at all...I can tell you have NEVER read Jesus's words! You insult him! So why do a compulsive act like "PBUH" after you discount him like that... Have you no shame?
Hebrews 1:3
"The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had PROVIDED PURIFICATION for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven."

By this act (Crucifixion and Resurrection) he defeated death and the works of the devil... By his BLOOD we are free from original sin and can find forgiveness of sins! That is why we NO LONGER sacrifice because Jesus Christ's sacrifice made atonement for sin once and for all... Nothing else can compare and nothing can undo it...
Ask God in Jesus Christ's name to show you the truth, the light and the way. The Quran tells you to "search for the truth"

Although Jesus died (pbuh) he did not get (pbuh) much attention since people (pbuh) are still killing each (pbuh) other and treating each other (pbuh) like dirt.
Like Dr. Bologna said, that's a lot of salami (pbuh) to take responsibility for what (pbuh) happened 2,000 years (pbuh) ago. Not that the Muslims are any different.

Well...no...there were many followers of Jesus when he was here on earth. The story of the loaves of bread and fish says he fed 5000 people. They'd all come to listen to him teach.

People believed in Moses because he was a prophet...Jesus was the son of God and it was prophesied that many would not know him.

We are all responsible for what happened...it was sin that crucified him. Without the crucifixion, there would be no salvation. He sacrificed himself for us...willingly. There is no greater love then for a man to lay down his life for another. He did that as a man...and as God.

No. I was not there.

according to the bible lots of people believed in Jesus when he was alive. That is why the Jewish priests wanted to get rid of him.

You have some non-Biblical proof that Moses or Jesus actually existed?

BTW, the penultimate part of your question makes no sense what so ever.

Edit:
Four followers? You are really dense aren't you. Read the Gospels of those four. They claim that he had thousands of followers.

Yes. Jesus didn't have to die on a cross to save anyone. His life and teachings would save us. He never said he died for our sins, man said that. Jesus said whoever believes in him shall be saved. Believing actually means following his teachings. He takes ones past sin and then they are responsible for the sin from that point. Otherwise he wouldn't have said "Go and sin no more." The idea that those who just believe but do any dam thing they want and those who follow strictly his teachings will get the same result are fanatical and man made idea. Jesus originally taught karma, reincarnation, and vegetarianism, and no one goes to hell eternally. This was all brought on by King Constantine, who also added Paul's teachings who never even met Jesus. For the original New Testament google gospelofthenazirenes.com The Truth will set everyone free. Your God is my God Krisha, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. One God many traditions. World peace.

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?" They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets." "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church."
