Dear Savage,

My husband and I have listened to you since the 90's. I was deeply saddened when I heard you say that "Christians are no better than the Talliban." Present day Christians do NOT kill people to make their point. We believe that God sent his son, Jesus Christ to die for our sins. I AM a sinfull Christian. I will be a sinfull Christian till death. By following God and his son's word, I know God can change me. For example, I don't have to worry like mormons do, whether I have done enought good works to get into heaven. Who's standards are they anyway? Man's? Christians are only messangers of their faith. It is up to you to believe in Christ.

In closing, if any Christian judges anyone harshly for not believing in Christ, I hope they too are judged harshly. It is NOT our decision who shall go to heaven.

I Will keep you, and our leaders of this Great Nation in my prayers. Trina Lee

i have read several posts and answers about love, and the answers that love is a verb really intrigued me. we can hear someone tell us that they love us, but if their actions don't confirm their professions we may feel it is not love. what about the spiritual path? is it something that can be read or heard or is it a verb as well? do we need to live in a certain manner to understand what the sages are trying to tell us? how long does it take to begin to understand?

Personally, I think Jesus would spend the 30 seconds and help the cause. In fact, this little penguin was probably acting on God's divine will. Only Hitler would deny a small semi-aquatic flightless bird of reaching his goal.
Are you like Hitler? Do you like crushing dreams and killing Jews?
I sure hope not.

Thank you for reading this.

Communist governments (generally atheistic)and Islamic governments seem to side with one another quite frequently, do these two seemingly opposed ideologies, actually have the same author? Who's goal is the total abolition of Christ's msg of truth and hope for the world?

I have never observed this ritual of confession and never in my life I would abide by it simply because I do not believe in confession before a worldly figure what ever he/she claims of the power to hear confession because I believe that the right authority to hear is my God to whom I can open my heart in acknowledging my sins. I have also studied in Christian history of the priests forgiving sins on cash payment. I regret I do not know the technical name for it. We are sinners and as we live knowingly or unknowingly we commit sins. Selling the body to sustain life cannot be termed a sin but offering it to satisfy passion is definitely one. Priestly profession cannot claim that it is above sin and my question is that how a sinner can hear and forgive a sin. In Kerala where I lived even now this is a good income for the church. However I acknowledge that our remorse on our sins expressed to our God with a promise not to repeat it really heals our injured soul. lileeann33

Some people are so dedicated to their party they will vote for a candidate even if they disagree with their policy. Is there a slight chance that some Christians are not voting their spirit just because of their party affiliation? Please let me know your opinion.

so many people come up with random questions that they feel God should answer or explain. I think the bible is a pretty good size book that covers the basics, but if it included everything how big do you think it would be?

Shouldn't they return to Christian control all the nations around the Mediterranean Sea that were falsely taken under a Jihad that should never have been fought? After all, "you shall not steal" is Allah's law, and the Book requires one to return with interest what was taken unjustly.

Go about your own path.
I will go about mine.

Should we meet and agree,
It will be beautiful.

If we do not, then it too,
Will be beautiful.

For your path has its own beauty
And wondrous sights as does mine.

The greatest beauty will be for us to
Share out experiences and be made
Richer by our differences.

A very fitting verse for R&S don't you agree?
Many Blessings!

I want to know, because ive always been questioning my catechism teachers and making them red in the face by asking for the truth, not just what they teach us to make it seem like every things all right. I belive in evolution and laugh at the adam and eve myth. I hate the fundamentalist christians going around telling people that they will go to hell if they dont repent, even if the person they are telling is a good person. Who are they to judge other people? They just go around critizing all the wonderful people of all these so called "pagan" religions. (dont get me wrong there are alot of good understand christians aswell) And if God is so all merciful, then why is there a hell? He's contradicting himself. Why should we live our lives by some book written by a bunch of "divinely" inspired humans, who if did that now, would get critized for saying they were inspired by God. Why should be live our lives by what other people say just because we are afraid of some "Hell" place?
