Honestly, I think you should be careful what you wish for. Jesus, when he came wasn't what the people of those times thought it was. Many of them never accepted the message of love over war. That freedom was self-induced.
The end of Christianity that is part of the Christian experience could be nothing more than the age of Technology and humanists views taking center stage in our human experience and not the second coming of Jesus at all. As far as I'm concerned, he never left. We herald our dead way more than we do our living. Anyone knows that if you really want to make an impact, your better off dead.
We're weird that way.
The beginning of the end may be here, but not in the way it's implied.
In astrology, we've come out of the age of Pisces(religion) and into Aquarius (technology). I see it here, where finally we talk openly and different.
It is apparent, That religion can't answer for a whole lot of reality. That's going to hurt because the world isn't as simplistic as it used to be. Either religion grows up or it ends.

this is real that some elements of Christianity are complicated to believe, like the doctrine of the 2d Coming or Resurrection. yet I continually remind those who a lot of what Christianity has tuaght has shown to be real. we've extrabiblical information of Jesus, His' life and lack of life, and far of the heritage of the early church. those individuals that've had what in the present day's stated as a "non secular adventure" even be counted on God and The Trinity. So if the stuff we may be able to attempt proves real, it makes one far more beneficial prepared to believe Christianity and evaluate the 'extraordinary' stuff basically the stuff we've not encountered a lot. Can people upward push from the lifeless? Scientists can deliver a frog back from the lifeless? If God exists, why can not He do this on a mass scale? He already created each and everything, ideal?

I believe the end times is coming. But not sure if its coming in our lifetime. These signs have been coming for year's and year's. And they will continue to come. And there have always been wars, and diseases it seems going on all my life off and on, So who's to say But God that the End is near. Yes, I do believe and think that Jesus will come again, Soon yes, But when only God know's.
The Godly things that Christians can do are: Pray, witness, Evangelise, attend church, read the bible to be familiarized with the word of God for when people ask us about why we believe in God.

I am a catholic and have been for many years now, you could live a thousand life times and you would still be asking that question when will Christ return, those that walked with him have asked the same question, and 2000 years later people are still asking the same question, I assure you, you will never see the return of Christ and neither will anyone else it simply cannot and will not ever happen, May God Bless.

yes The signs have been there since I was born
With everything happening in the world, it is very difficult to say if He is coming soon. Some people say because the Aztec calendar will end. Some, because of other prophecies. The signs are there if you look for them. It's as easy as stepping outside to check the weather.
What can we do to be ready for Christ?
Love one another, so that you don't have to tell Him anything embarrassing.

Turbulence in the Middle East is escalating. The strange natural disasters around the world are escalating. The one world order is in place already. Israel is returning to the promised land. So many signs. Yes.
Christians should be about the Master's business....teaching the gospel, being prayed and confessed up, get the house in order.

2 Peter 3:8-15 – instead of worrying about when the return of Christ will occur, Christians should follow Peter’s instruction to repent of their sins, live lives of holiness and godliness, be zealous and at peace, and wait for the Lord’s coming with forbearance and joy! Pray, fast and do penance

if you study the last book of the bible it gives you the signs that the end time is almost upon us and by those signs yes i think we are the end time generation. To do godly things is not necessary to have faith in Jesus Christ as your personal saviour is so that is the thing to do to be ready have faith in Jesus as your saviour

yeah, i believe we live in the last days, mainly because the prophecies in Daniel have been fullfilled, last one in 1844 with Jesus going into the Holy of Holies, Yes it's true that there are increasing disasters, but at the same time we are numb to it.. it's crazy.. i guess walk with God is my best suggestion.. read what the word says and keep it near your heart, study the bible.. and pray... gather with friends for a study if you can.. anyway i should do the same.. it's easier said than done really..
