Why is that some people think they can commit all the sins they want and still be Christian? I know that Jesus will forgive us when we ask for it, but does that mean we should sin more to receive more grace? Absolutely not we are to avoid sin at ALL cost.

Also how can some say that ALL ROADS LEAD TO HEAVEN, when it is clear that Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father except through me."

I recently noticed that there are no celebrities, TV/Radio personalities (other than shock jocks maybe), or sports figures who openly admit to being atheists so it makes me wonder if claiming to be an atheist in Hollywood is considered taboo and a bad PR move. I guess it's kind of like gay celebrities who won't admit they're gay.

i was watching a program that said that the carbon dating system used on the shroud seemed to prove it wrong, however many scientists especially creation scientists seem to be not so sure about the validity of the whole carbon dating process and on top of that the imprint on the shroud were clearly of a man who was killed by crucifixtion

And do not tell me you get inspired by the Holy Spirit, because JW and Mormons say the same thing and their interpretation is different than yours (unless you are one of them.... then this question is not for you).

Why 33,000 protestant denominations teaching different things if the truth is ONE - Jesus (" I am the way, the truth...")?

I think every single one of the stories in the Bible are true. The Bible says that if you pray you will get a feeling that will let you know that it is true.

The stories may be hard to believe, but God wants you to have faith.

Besides, if God does exist, don't you think he can do whatever he wants? I know that some atheists will get after me for using something that we have no scientific evidence for to prove something that we have no scientific evidence for, but the point that I'm making is the stories really aren't that hard to believe if you think about it.

They really aren't as silly as they sound. Not any more silly than saying that you believe you're distantly related to a banana (which is what evolutionist actually believe because they believe that all life on earth came from a common ancestor).

Anyways, I have faith. I believe it happened exactly as it says it did.

I know that many Christians witness because they don't want anyone to go to hell. For a minute, take into account how it feels to have a Jehovah's Witness or a Mormon come to your door. You don't like it, do you?

So, putting yourself in the shoes of an unsaved person, and knowing that they are offended about the hell issue, what are some other reasons you can give to nonbelievers on why they should become Christians as opposed to Buddist, or Hindus, etc.

If you were to share Christ with someone that is offended about the hell issue, what would you say to them that might convince them to follow Christ? I'm not saying to deny the salvation issue, but how can we bring others to Christ without going the hellfire and brimstone route which is offensive to them?

alot of people come to this site for insight and help.yes some of the questions may sound stupid and dumb but some of thses people are seriously asking this to maybe find answers to something that have been bothering them for awhile and i have saw alot of slammimg from some of these so called god loving christians ........... if this is what your christian life is all about then keep it ........thats why so many people will not accept the fact that you as so called "christians " are any better than any of us most are hipocrites and burn with the rest of us so slam on is all i can say heres you a verse you can think about ''''''''' have i not cast out devils in thy name ...have i not worked mircales in thy name........ have i not prophesied in thy name .....and your jesus answer and said depart from me you works of iniiquity ..........there is a road that seems rightious unto man but the end therein is DEATH!!! ...........by their fruits ye shall know them .....

What would Jesus say to the Fundlementalist here who say this group or that group are not 'true' Christians, the Pope needs to be saved, you can be bapitzed as many times as you want, and so on. Personally, I think that He might not be to happy.
