It has nothing to do with anything except the length of the book they wrote. That's all. It has absolutely nothing to with importance or revelation of the truth inside the writings.

The division between major and minor prophets is due entirely to the length of the book. For instance Ezekiel Jeremiah are longer books than Ezra and Habakkuk.
That is it, no huge spiritual meaning, just length of writing.

The only difference is on their books, chapters, major prophets books contain more sheets, they are longer, there are 4 major prophets and 12 minor prophets.

Most of it has to do with the length of the Book. But also some prophets were given greater things to do like Moses.

The seven major Prophets came to instill the seven levels of consciousness in man and awaken these levels of consciousness. They were messengers sent from God!
The minor Prophets were sent by God to clarify certain points.
They were limited as to what God commanded of them, and had restrictions on their commissions as Prophets. They were messengers sent from God as well!
