I've like to set the record straight on this issue. Most fundamentalists I believe are sharing not because we want people to go to hell, but because we want them to go to heaven!!

So, to the Fundamentalist Christian, what is your reason for sharing about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Science discover things and try to find the answer and give evidence to things. What does God do? Other than in people imagination that god has done something for them. Or for everyone. Is there evidence that god or Jesus sacrifice for us? Is there even Jesus or god? What make people so sure that everything is made by god when everything seem to be created by nature on earth. Such as water make every green trees n more. And other stuff that help earth and every living things. How can god be the cause of these things. Impossible, that what i think. What's your opinion in this.

Ok for those who once thought you had faith. When you were losing your faith did you pray? Did you ask god to show you a sign? Did you ask for guidance? I did. I found nothing. Once again just a poll.

and to leave my church...I was quite amazed at the answers.

I asked tongue-in-cheek and received some very disturbing responses from fundies, calling themselves Christians.

Do you really think that I would give up my life for your beliefs...based on your interpretation of the scripture.

Get real...

Why can't fundies realize, they do not have the inside track to life...they are not God...they do not have all of the answers.

Question to the fundies, if someone told you to leave your spouse and your church because of their beliefs on scripture ...would you?

You are a bunch of self-righteous, arrogant people. You are not God...you do not have all of the answers...no matter what you think. You are no better than the extremist fundamentalists in other religions...you think your way, is the only way.

I will pray for your souls.

I saw this on the History Channel in one of the episodes of "Banned From The Bible." I think they mentioned it in the same program that mentioned "The Apocalypse Of Peter."

I grew up being taught that there was, but there wasn't. It was debated. What are your thoughts?

I lost my faith due to psychological issues. I was told, faith heals everything. It doesn't, but people are told it does and that depression, bipolar disorder and the like are caused by lack of fath. Why?

it was written in the bible that we don't have to add or remove any into it.
Deu 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it. "
"Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. "

Can, and does morality exist as a concept in and of itself without reference to religion?

It seems from my last question, http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070410105337AABLasl&r=w

That most people don't mind someone telling them about their religion if the evangelical doesn't say anything about your faith being wrong.

Most people might even be interested in reading a little bit about Animism (see my prev. question) as long as I didn't try to convert them. They might even take a little from it and learn something, because a lot of people don't know much about it.

How does this compare to Christian evangelicals? I mean, people have heard about Christianity before.

Also, isn't the purpose of the Christian evangelicals to convert, not just to share stories?

What are everyone's thoughts on this?

isn't it sad for atheists if there's no God, no heaven, only no more existence when we're dead, that Christians won't know that they were wrong? and atheist won't be able to say "in your face! I was right you were wrong?

I'm just curious, you know? I mean, you Christians live your entire life based on these stories, right? If you don't know the answer to the questions, then you must surely question the validity of the whole story, right? Or do you pick and choose which parts to believe and which not?
Or do you Christians still believe that dinosaur bones in the earth are a plant by the devil to mislead mankind?

No, seriously, why do you believe so tenatiously in something you don't even have a thousandth of the answers for? Do you also believe that Snake Oil actually cures baldness? If I told you it was true, would you believe it then? How can you base your life, morals and values on something you cannot even answer questions for?

So tell me, how did Noah get over THREE MILLION animals onto his little boat? And how did he collect them in just a few days? How did he collect animals from what is now called South America?
C'mon, its YOUR belief, why can't you answer the question?

If I came up to you on the street, smiling, and asked you if you've heard about Animism?

If I handed you a pamphlet and asked you to accept the fact that even rocks have souls, and that you should sit down and listen to the wind for guidence instead of reading your Bible?

If I told you that following the religion you are now is leading you down the wrong path, and that you should accept my religion so you can be happy and at one with the Universe?

If I told you the changes it made in my life and how much happier I am now that I'm no longer a Christian?

Now if god or gods do not exist then no one knows everything. Humans are not able to prove some things or even explain them. I mean back then humans thought the earth was flat.
1. Some people believe that there is god(s)
2. Some believe there is not god(s)
3. Some think they can bring total peace by bringing an end to death, crime, pain, and suffering.
4. Some think we can not bring "total peace".
5. Some people think they can provide solutions to get them from getting killed by all tornadoes, all hurricanes, all earthquakes, all asteroids, and every volcano. Although some think we can make only some solutions to them.
6. There are many religions and beliefs.
7. Not everyone agrees with politics and world issues.
8. Unexplained phenomenon
9. Not everyone agrees upon anything!
Many other secrets of life lie outside the human mind because many are hidden from our eyes--no one knows if there isn't. So why are some people trying to lead individuals away from their beliefs?
