Don't look at famine/wars as God testing you or no God not offering you salvation. The sadness in the world is from humans, and nothing else. God is not doing these things to test people. God gave each person free will, to do bad or good. Few chose good, more choose bad. Most choose both. God doesn't make them suffer to make them better people. Again, God doesn't make famine or wars. But that doesn't mean it is not a chance for you to do good.

He's far too busy giving American Christians the nice cars and houses that they pray for to worry about famine victims.

No pain, no gain
That's my honest belief as a Christan. The Idea of a "good" God that will stop suffering in the wold, is a misleading, false ideology.

Or awful childhood genetic disorders.
As an example- look up Neiman Pick type C disease. I had a friend who lost 3 of their children to it, the oldest lived until she was 16. They are wonderful people and Catholics.
Talk about horrible and sad. Thanks God.

God absolutely does! If wold leaders and rulers were obedient to God' s precepts their hearts would compell them to be peaceful and to provide food to all who are in need. We cannot blame God for the sinful nature and behavior of men.

Awful ain't it? Think if they had accepted jesus as their god it would have happened? You will be getting loads of verse quotes and in some instances whole pages from the bible giving reasons.

Because He wants us to sort out our own problems. IF He came to the rescue every time we decided to have a war, it would be like if you're an adult and your mommy keeps rescuing you instead of letting you solve your own problems. God wants us to cut the cord and deal with problems ourselves, so to speak...
