I have My Father in Heaven,
The Word of God, The Bible,
And The Holy Spirit who lives within.
And a crowd of thousands upon thousands throughout the ages to today and tomorrow that have what I have and know that they know The One True God.
And nothing Compares!
Ask yourself, it really is important for you - the individual. apart from lack of Faith in something I can't see, what have I got to back me up.
And don't talk about science, because there is not enough evidence to prove either way, or we all would believe, and don't say it is intelligence because some of the most intellectual people alive are Christians.

I'm not asking if atheists are smarter, but are there any statistics on education levels of atheists versus persons of other beliefs?

Again I'm not putting anyone down, so don't freak out at me, it's just a question. And I mean education, as in schooling, not smarts as in IQ, as I fundamentally do not think most humans are that different in IQ.

I'm just curious because I asked a question about spiritual development and people corrected me. So what do you call it if not your spirit or soul?

I mean the way I understand it is that the soul/spirit is physical, the little dude that drives the body, the decision maker. Where my brain is the organ, but this is the thing inside it. Does this make sense, or is it just too much an extension of a Catholic upbringing?

Women in France, and now it's happening in other countries, is it fair for them to have to abandon their religious beliefs and stop wearing their hijabs or hair coverings? The Holy Qu'ran tells women to keep their modesty and keep their hair covered. If the christian Bible told Christian women to do the same, would they be forced?

I live in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin diocese....that may explain ALOT right there.

I am currently dating a lovely man who feels that his annulment may be invalid due to the 'rubber stamping' that this diocese is well known to do. He asked three priests; all who said "it's valid"...but then one--who said "would you stake the soul of (my name) and yours if you doubt?"

Yuck.

Is there any instance where an annulment is invalid that was properly issued by a marriage tribunal? Or, is my sweetheart 'overthinking' things.

Please substantiate your answers, I REALLY need it!!

Many blessings to you all, and each of you have a blessed Holy Week.

We live in such a this-or-that, black-or-white world, do we not?

Coke or Pepsi?
Democrat or Republican?
Atheist or Christian?

What if neither theory is correct? What if it's something else, and if so, what?

Before I go any further, I want to make it clear that I have nothing against anyone who follows any religion.

However - I am interested to know why it is that Jehovah's Witnesses knock on people's doors to try and encourage people to join them, while it isn't usual (at least not where I live) for followers of other religions to do this.

Furthermore - why is it even although you have politely informed Jehovah's Witnesses that you do not wish to join them, and would rather they didn't come back to your door - they ignore this and come back anyway in an attempt to change your mind?

I'm looking for answers specifically related to the issue of "recruitment" in this fashion - I don't need screeds of info about being a Jehovah's Witness or the literature they give out. Thanks.

Or do you think Man decided on his own to create all the religions we have today?..

When GOD gave the first man and woman free will his intentions were for them to follow his commandment (Staying away from the forbidden fruit) since they did not do you think GOD at that point decided man needed a religion to follow?
