Say I was an engineeer/designer/craftsman who could of been a spy or detective?What does it mean.It says I like to find a good teacher and absorb knowledge.
So I was thinking should I be these things or what?

If one believes in past lives, and if one believes that each lifetime we are here to learn something...then I would tell you that it really doesn't matter who you were in the past, it only matters who you are today, right now. Be who you are today with all of your likes, dislikes, talents, gifts and dreams. Be who you want to be and follow your heart.

Come to India. You will find many who claim to have had a past life. (I am sure you will find many who still are living in the past.)
Don't you think this life is too short for this one living? Aren't there so many things you wish to do and so many places you wish to go in this life? Forget the past life even if it were there. Live this life King size.

No one has ever been able to prove that they lived another life. People have stories, but can't speak other languages without studying them, don't know what they should know, etc. There's no evidence for past lives, just wishful thinking.

It's nonsense. There are no souls or migration thereof. Whether or not a generic memory is possible, I can't say, but I can say that you'll do well if you chose your path in life because it's something you have a passion for, not because you believe you lived before.

What? Past lives? Some people think they remember some, who am I to say they don't. It is said, each life span is for us to learn a 'lesson', so each one would be distinct from the others.

i can say one and only one thing.
all souls are one and only one called super soul.
the super soul enters into material body as life at time of birth and leaves at the time of death.
so the supersoul is one which changes into various forms without changing natural process.
