I'd be bored in heaven. What fun is there? No fast ladies, No Cold beer, No T.V. No good movies to watch, ( No movie at all ) No fishing, No fast cars, No fast food ( Don't do that much anyways) Can't go to the beach and look at pretty ladies, Man! I don't want to go to heaven. The other place will be more fun I'm sure. Plus I'd have friends with the devil.

When JC redding and other fundamenatlists spread hatred and intolerance in the name of Christ, aren't they in direct opposition to the teachings of Christ? How can they memorize the Bible and yet miss the whole point? God is Love. Love Everybody

God used to be on top of things. The way he gave us his message, with giving us the most popular Book ever written...I have to hand it to the Guy. That was brilliant.

But God seems to be getting tired of being original. In our era God seems to come up with things like Godtube.com and Conservapedia.com. Weak copies of human inventions.

On june 7th of this year, God will open his Creation Museum. Another weak copy of a human invention. It's sad, really.

Has God simply lost his originality? Or is he trying to tell us he's getting tired of us? Is he giving us a museum to give us the message that His work is all part of history now, and he's begging us to please allow Him to have a nice, relaxed retirement?

It's been my experience that when a theist, Christian or otherwise, presents an argument for their god in a debate and it is refuted thoroughly and succinctly, the theist in question will still use it in other places as if they've never been proven wrong.

Why? Why is it so difficult for many theists to admit that a particular belief about something (namely, their god or a claim about evolution) has been falsified?

I am a devout hindu, but I also love Sikhism and Buddhism just as much as I love Hinduism. Sikhism and Buddhism were both started by Hindu founders and share many fundamentals with Hinduism. The guy that started Zoroastrianism (Zoroaster) was also a Hindu Brahmin.

Is it possible to be a HINDU, SIKH, BUDDHIST AND ZOROASTRIAN at the SAME TIME???

Christians constantly denounce Muslims as being "hateful".

Lets say this is the case, How can you blame me? doesnt the Bible say that David says in the Psalms:

21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD,
and abhor those who rise up against you?

22 I have nothing but hatred for them;
I count them my enemies.
[psalm 139]

and

"I hate those who cling to worthless idols;
I trust in the LORD.

7 I will be glad and rejoice in your love,
for you saw my affliction
and knew the anguish of my soul.
[psalm 31:6-7]

I must admit i hate those who cling to worthless idols such as the cross and the idea that Jesus(peace be upon him) died for our sins. I love God with all my heart and soul and likewise I hate those who do not worship Him alone and submit to Him as Muslims.

How did the Christian Church (the Body of Christ) exist for the first 1,500 years without the false doctrine of "sola scriptura"?

Since there is no list of canonical books anywhere in the Bible, nor does any book (with the exception of St. John's Apocalypse) claim to be inspired....how does a "Bible Christian" know the Bible is the Word of God?

Is it because The Church gave us the Bible - and not the other way around? Hmmmm?

Or, do evangelicals actually believe that St. Paul and the Apostolic Fathers ran around the known world with leather-bound King James Version Bibles (Red Letter Edition) under their arms?

Or to put it another way: Why believe in your god but deny the existence of any other?

[And for anyone claiming "Because he told me to", there is always the possibility that other gods ask the same thing, so what is there left to choose between them?]

I want to read, at the very least, the Torah, the Bible, and the Qu'ran. Only my English is good enough to read them in so I would need translations. I go to a Catholic school, and am joining a predominantly Christian organization, so I am looking to read the Bible first. The organization I am joining has three stories of from the old testament and two from the new, so I need something that incorporates both. I would also love to read the other books of the Christian faith, such as the Book of Mormon, the Book of Mary, and the other books that the Church removed when creating the Bible.

I will also accept the books giving me the basis of any other religion you care to mention. I find it is best to be well informed. I follow no religion, but my beliefs lie somewhere between Wicca and shamanism. I am not looking to be converted, just knowledgeable.
