Lets say the rapture occured tomorrow. Lets say its like the left behind series where everyone saved disappears just like that. (we wont know exactly how its going to happen til it does obviously) Im not sure if you've had any Christians talk to you or your knowledge about the bible/christianity but im thinking you know a fair amount...that being said someone told you about the rapture/tribulation and everything... would you change your mind and believe? or decide it was something else that caused people to just disappear?

I went to a Catholic school and in my early years was taught by nuns, one of them told me she wore a silver ring because when she took her vows she married Christ.

The wager relies soley on Christians view of heaven and hell, and reward and after life. so it does not apply to any religion person of any other reliiogn. Also, it applies equally well to any religion with a set of guildlines for life and some kind of eternal reward, so there is logical way to deduce that one should believe in Jesus instead of Buddah using the argument. Lastly, one could just as easily argue that if a Just and Fair G-d exists, he would not punish people for coming to a conclusion about him that is incorrect if that conclusion was reached using the very skills of logic and reason that he himself had given them and thus create an so called atheist wager.

Also, if one were to read the Old Testament critically, one would see that G-d fully intends rewards to occur in this lifetime. This is something that negates the very premise of the wager in the first place. Also if the wager was true one would think nothing of killing children, whom would go right to heaven.

I read Thomas Paine's "Age of Reason" and compared to him, your sense of Reason becomes pitiful. You think you know how to create an argument against God or a religion, but you don't know anything. If Reason is your God, if you may grant me the term, then your God is really pathetic. Reason differs from person to person, and for you, it is a mirage. Others, like Paine, had at least some wit to him though he made some very foolish and self-destructive arguments, but for the most part he made a much better case than any of you can hope to, and he wasn't even an Atheist.

I know for a fact that under the anointing of God I have this gift, along with others. This Gift is used not to lead Gods people because they have the Holy Spirit leading them. This gift is used to confirm what God has usually spoken to someone else. It also is used to show Gods Marvelous works and how awesome He is to speak through me. I also can discern peoples actions, thoughts, words and a lot of other things.

Believe me, to whom much is given, much is required. It's not that I was so good, but because God entrusted me with this gift. I've had to endure many many trials and tribulations and through it all I trusted in God.

If there is anyone who feels that it is too much to serve God, just remember that you are more than a conqueror. You can overcome any obstacle and make it an opportunity, any stumbling block into a stepping stone.

they either use the bible or cite some christian website as their source of information to make their points. dont they understand that the bible or sites that quote the bible are exactly what we, the non-christian crowd, are using to base our questions and attacks on? you cannot use the object of disbelief as proof to the unbeliever! do they not see this?

Mary and Joseph never had wedding rings, and Jesus never got married, so it can't have a Christian history can it? Does it just signify eternal love?

This is what the Good News of Christ is all about. God himself confining himself to a human body and paying the price for humanity.
