In a way you are correct.

One must come to Jesus to be convinced of sin.

Once convinced and convicted there arises a Godly sorrow, which leads to but is not synonomous with repentance and faith towards God.

The Bible declares, that if we confess our sin, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.

Which leads into a mass amount of spiritual questions anyway.

So, primitive tribesmen still living in Africa with no technology or word of god are now sinners and go straight to hell? How can you get punished for ignorance?

And so if it's our responsibility, (as the people who do have religion,) to educate these people, well what if they don't want to know? But wait! Most religions don't say anything about traveling to other countries to witness to people! So does that mean that only Jehovah's Witness' are correct? Well wait, that can't be right...

And what about children? Children who have no concept of religion who die before they're saved... they go to hell too?

The point is that there is no correct answer. Each religion contradicts another religion, so there's no choosing. Basically all that matters is the idea.

The problem with your question is that it assumes that there are people who are unaware of sin when there are not. While there may be people who are unaware of the way the scriptures define sin, and it's consequences they still know about sin. Even "atheists" know right and wrong. So your question is a poorly thought out one. Pretty common for you though.
Also, you might want to take note that The Catholic Church teaches that people in ignorance can still be saved, depending on how they respond to the light that they are given. Ignorance is not a guarantee but it is not an irrevocable death sentence.

Everyone knows about Jesus, what is unfair? Just because a person is refusing to accept him is not the same as not knowing.

Well, almost. Jesus is the easy way. The other way we don't know anything about. There is another way. To understand it we would have to go back before the law. All the people who died or will die without ever knowing anything about Jesus will be judged this way. The success rate is not as good. So-for all practical purposes---Jesus is the way!

Life / death, from my perspective, are not impacted by 'fairness'.

I believe that all mankind has been given a sense of good / bad - a sense of sin. I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God - he outlines sin, and gives his answer. It's not my word, they aren't my definitions, and I am neither judge nor jury.

If it seems unfair, I'll assist you in taking it up with him, if you like (not joking).

Sin is actions / thoughts that take you away from God ("God is love" <1 Jn:4>

Sinners move away from God and sometimes can't find their way back. Jesus is the Shepard who will find his sheep (you) if you call out for him to bring you back to love. Those without the privilege of ever knowing him (those who died 3,000 years ago ... communist countries) will have Jesus search for them, and if they respond, Jesus will lead them to Heaven.

Sho...we are ALL sinners. Believing in Jesus is YOUR problem, not mine. If you want to just take my word for it...you are sure free to believe again if you want.
