The wager relies soley on Christians view of heaven and hell, and reward and after life. so it does not apply to any religion person of any other reliiogn. Also, it applies equally well to any religion with a set of guildlines for life and some kind of eternal reward, so there is logical way to deduce that one should believe in Jesus instead of Buddah using the argument. Lastly, one could just as easily argue that if a Just and Fair G-d exists, he would not punish people for coming to a conclusion about him that is incorrect if that conclusion was reached using the very skills of logic and reason that he himself had given them and thus create an so called atheist wager.
Also, if one were to read the Old Testament critically, one would see that G-d fully intends rewards to occur in this lifetime. This is something that negates the very premise of the wager in the first place. Also if the wager was true one would think nothing of killing children, whom would go right to heaven.

hmm some correction, there hsoudl have been a "not" somewhere between the word Jesus and Buddah, also to the guy who asks if i wanna bet, I bet you everything in all of existence right now, and I wil leven sell you my soul while you are at it.

to no named scuba gear picture guy and others, I was not trying to reinvent the wheel here just trying organize a few thoughts i had seen on different question pages into one post. also this is a very common belief and wager that is used just about 100% of the time anyone has ever tried to convert me to Christianity so no matter how you feel about it, it is definitely out there.
Lastly I don't think I have ever seen anyone bring up my argument concerning the Old Testaments idea of rewards occurring in this lifetime as an argument against pascals wager.
