None of these biblical "plans" seem to be the best way to do things.
Want to wipe out all wickedness ? Have a flood, yet wickedness is right back on the scene - see what I mean ?

Because His kingdom is not of this world. That was what the Jews couldn't understand, His apparent lack of concern over the oppressive Roman government. If He had addressed slavery, He would have had to address thousands of other aspects of politics and government and that wasn't God's will or purpose. His will and purpose was to be the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
And Abe Lincoln was no prophet.

the way I know it, the Republicans ran on a value tag of banning slavery interior the factors that did no longer already have slavery. i do no longer think of Lincoln somewhat signed the Emancipation Proclamation till after the South began the conflict. i need to be incorrect, although.

abe lincoln wasnt very christian. he ended slavery.
a good christian knows how to treat a slave. but slavery is still ok biblically.
