I'm a devout Catholic, and have always been baffled by the fact that the majority of people think we WORSHIP Mary!! We do NOT. God is the only God. We are Christians just like the rest of Christians. We honor Mary as the Mother of Jesus, and ask for her to intercede for us on our behalf to God, but nothing more. Everyone: Catholics DO NOT worship Mary!!!! Why does everyone have such a hard time understanding that????????????

When you were losing your faith, did you ever consider these verses?

Romans 8:35-39

Who shall ever separate us from Christ's love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword?

Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter.

Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.

For I am persuaded beyond doubt that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers,

Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Does God want you to make a positive change in the world? Does this mean, actually trying to change the world and make a difference for the better on earth,
or change the landscape of "heaven" in order to have more included and not punished for their beliefs?
Is it more about beliefs, or actions,
and will those actions be punished and rewarded accordingly?

I've heard it put 3 different ways. One, simply yes. Two, simply no. And three, that its okay to do it, but it becomes a sin if it starts interfering with your everday life and duties. I think that last one is most sensable, but I'm still not sure. Care to help?

Genesis 3: 14-21 Explains the puishments that God has Given to the Snake, Adam and Eve (And their decendants), but Why do we still suffer if Jesus was supposed to wipe the sins, thus the punishments?

Example:

Gen 3:16 Then the LORD said to the woman, "You will suffer terribly when you give birth. But you will still desire your husband, and he will rule over you."
(Women still suffer during birth)

Gen 3:17 The LORD said to the man, "You listened to your wife and ate fruit from that tree. And so, the ground will be under a curse because of what you did. As long as you live, you will have to struggle to grow enough food.
(We still have to work for a living)

Gen 3:14 So the LORD God said to the snake: "Because of what you have done, you will be the only animal to suffer this curse-- For as long as you live, you will crawl on your stomach and eat dirt.
(???? ok ????)

Sorry for the long details, but please elaborate.

Mine was unusually beautiful...
I went to bed with a heavy heart! I am really praying for a miracle right now. But, when I woke up, things felt settled, taken care of, resolved even.
After breakfast at Denny's I drove to the Jetty's by the marina. Two wild dolphins were happily diving and swimming. Putting on a show! It was inspiring. While heading to the Library, I caught a Doggie Parade! I parked the car as it went right past me! Some pampered dogs were in baby strollers no less. It is a festival and parade for the Humane Society, I am told.
It is going to be a great day! Pray works and our God is a God of Miracles... God Bless you and the ones you Love today!
*What is your weekend like? Any big plans?*
I hope that you make beautiful memories...
