You will not find as many as you think who 'choose' to relive anything bad they went through, as to what you are implying, so I'm not sure where you are getting your information from.
People can't help but sense the pain they have gone through in their life, it's a psychological thing that scars you immensely and the smallest thing that reminds you will ake you feel as bad as the day it occured, liek the smell of a certain flower, or the sight of a certain fish, piano etcetera.

Others just relive them for the adrenaline rush.

Well, personally I'm not in pain. But if I was, I'd choose to go straight to hospital. I don't think most people choose to be in pain. They're just forced to endure it until it heals. Unless, that is, they take pain killers.

Sounds great. Too often we forget what it's like to live without the pain; and this makes visualization and ability to get there challenging!!!

Perhaps the small pain reminds one of the larger pain in this world, which seems miniscule when we see larger pains of other people.

You don't have to live the pain...
it will never go away....but..
with the Lord...when we ask Him
He will give us peace...that passes ALL human understanding...

So we can live day to day....it's called Scarred
The Lord WILL be looking for the scarred ones.

If I have a papercut, and it hurts, at that moment, I can't ignore the pain. I live it. When it stops hurting, I return to my life as usual.

Some people have no idea how to shut it off...don't they realize that most illnesses are caused by their own negative thinking causing bad energy within them.
