You must have a personal relationship with God. Many people use the words "Dear Heavenly Father" because they have been taught that God is remote, and distant, and unapproachable.
I believe that God needs to be part of our very being, and that we should address him or her depending on your perspective as we would a valued friend.
If Hi God is how you would approach your best friend then in my opinion, that is an appropriate way to address God. May god's peace and love be with you each day!

God looks on your heart. If you start your prayer wiht "Hi, God" because you know that He loves you like his dear child then that's perfectly acceptable. But if you start your prayer that way because you lack reverence for the Creator of all things then you're in trouble.
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
14 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

You are absolutely correct!! What God wants from us is a relationship, not a religion.
Too many people get wrapped up in formalities, traditions, and religious dogma. Bottom line is that God wants relationship. Thats why we were created. We are told that God walked with Adam in the garden. He spent time with Adam - the very basics of relationship. I dont think Adam started every conversation with God by saying "Dear Heavenly Father" Do we speak to anyone we have relationship with in this way? Do we speak to our parents and say "Dear Honorable Mother/Father. No, because we have relationship with them.

My pastor told me one time how we may "boldly approach the throne", and while he's supported by Hebrews 4:16, my own response was to continue the sentence with "...on my knees, not daring to look at the Almighty".
"Hi God"? It's not a matter of being proper, it's a matter of realizing who you're talking to. Only the blood of His crucified Son allowed you to approach that throne. Pray accordingly.

Pyarer is communications with God. There is formal and informal communications. Informal prayers are as pleasing to the Lord as formal prayers. The important thing is that you pray often.

No need to be proper given that we don't even need to "pray" in order for God to know our thoughts, feelings and attitudes. Respect is shown in ways other than just our words

No, you don't have to be proper. God wants a good relationship with you. However, try to remember to start your prayers with thanking Him for all he has done for you, your blessings, for being a wonderful Creator etc.

No, it isn't wrong to address the Lord with, "Hi, God" if you are addressing Him that way with reverence in your heart. When you were very young, did you suddenly start talking with your parents in long sentences and for great lengths of time? I doubt it. And yet they weren't disappointed in you; they were delighted in your first attempts to speak.
In the same way, when we truly understand that God is our loving heavenly Father and we are His children, then we won't worry so much about "running out of things to say" or disappointing Him. God wants us to talk with Him, our heavenly Father, and He takes delight in us when we come to Him in prayer. When His disciples asked Jesus how to pray, He replied, "This, then, is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven ...'" (Matthew 6:9).
Begin when you pray by thanking and praising God for His love and goodness. The Psalmist wrote, "Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!" (Psalm 107:8, KJV). Then confess your sins and ask for His forgiveness. Finally, bring your concerns to Him. You may find it helpful to keep a list of people for whom you are praying.
Perhaps, however, the first prayer you need to make is one of faith, asking Christ to come into your life and giving yourself to Him. Christ has opened Heaven's door for us by His death on the cross, and when we know Him, we know God hears our prayers.

God expects us to be reverent, but He also expects us to be personal. If you are a Veggie Tales fan (I know I am), check out the song with Junior Asparagus about prayer. It really puts the faith of a child into perspective.

You should respect God as your creature. Hi, God is not advisable to say it.. On your other greeting, you are like greeting somebody whom you are writing a letter. There are good ways to address God which are nice to hear.
