If you are the kind of Christian that constantly goes around telling people that they are going to hell does it make you feel good? Do you feel empowered? Does it make you feel exonerated? Does it make you feel validated? Do you enjoy playing the role of God? Do you feel as if you are some kind of Christian Warrior? Are you narcissitic? Maybe egomaniacal? Now I know that not all Christians enjoy doing so but some do? So what's up with that?

And I have seen questions similar to this one. I have also noticed that some people constantly mention going to hell.

I have asked this question of many a die hard fundamentalist, and I find it amazing that the same people who claim the bible is to be taken literally, come up with some really crazy answers when confronted with this question. Why are there two very different stories about the death of Judas ( one in Mathew, one in Acts ). And please spare me the make believe!!! As you think the bible is to be taken literally, no answer you come up with means squat if you can't back it up with the bible.

like children they believe in a being who will give them what they ask for if they are good.

like children they think they know everything.

like children they like to point out every mistake someone makes.

so did they every really grow up? or did they get mentally "held back"?

(if you have any more to add please be my guest)

I heard you get whatever you want in paradise, but is there a limit? Can I wish to be a god of my own planet? Can I wish to be reborn on Earth? Can I wish for a Buddhist to go to Paradise?

You would think it stupid for a murderer to tell a serial killer he was wrong for killing, so,

Why do "Christians" keep telling "sinners" they are sinning?

We know no-one is perfect, & in fact the bible says that if ye say you have no sins in your life, you lie, & the truth is NOT in you.

So, if Christians still have sins, doesn't that make them a sinner? Only sinners commit sins, don't they?

Or do we simply have the Christian sinners now?

WHAT IS THE BEST EXCUSE -IMMORALITY, HATE, BLAMING JESUS FOR A LIFE PROBLEM, WHAT?
I am not perfect-once i lived wrong with my g/f but I got a new start in life with self respect and true love = care-"No greater love has any one than this that they would die for a friend, but when we were God's enemies Jesus died for us." the bible

"In marriage the bed is undefiled but the others will be judged." Hebrews chapter 13

lust as well as REJECTING JESUS is selfishness to fulfill ones own desire

"God is love" He gave everthing so we could find true love

Love is careing--first about God and then about our fellow man

to have sex before marriage means you made someone your god ahead of the God of the bible Messiah Jesus.

why do they call it making love? when it is rejecting God and marriage-there for just as the bible says-"The wages of sin is separation from God, but the gift of God is everlasting life through Jesus the Messiah our Lord." Romans6:23

Abiogenesis and Evolution?

First law of Thermodynamics: If matter can never be created or destroyed then how did we get here?

And for the evolutionists:

What about?

Cosmic Evolution: Time, Space and Matter have to come into existance. You can't be any place and be out of time. You can have anyone of these without the other two.

Chemical Evolution:Where did we get other elements? Fusion can't be the answer because you can't get past iron with fusion

Stellar Evolution: Stars? We have never seen them form? So how did they? No one has ever proven the formation of one star?

Orgainc Evolution: Life getting started, this would have to result from the non-living

Macro Evolution: No one has ever seen a dog make a nondog. Sure you get variations but it is still a dog.

Micro Evolution: This is the only one that is scientific and it only shows variations within the kinds.

First five are purely religous:

I am a Roman Catholic by birth. However, I am reexamining my spirituality. I consider myself "liberal" in the fact that while I believe in the Bible and its stories, I don't believe that they happened exactly "as is". I believe the stories happened but were recorded in the context of the reality of their lives 2-5000 years ago. I do NOT take the bible LITERALLY "as is".

For example, I believe God created everything in the universe, but that the Big Bang billions of years ago, evolution, humans evolved from apes (we are created in the image of God's spirit and love). I believe in a possible Garden of Eden in the fertile plains of the Jordan River where scientists say it probably existed thousands of years ago. I believe in Noah's flood, but believe it to have been a regional flood, as it is physically impossible for the earth to have been entirely covered with water, much less have all human races on earth having been descended from Noah and his family only 5000 years ago, etc.

I am looking for information regarding the Ghost Dance of Native Americans. Any books, journals, and especially videos portraying it would be most appreciated. I would really like to focus on the misunderstandings between the Native American and United States cultures. Also, I would like to know more about the lack of religious freedom that was experienced by Native Americans during the time.

Thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it!

Will you defend me, a pagan, other pagans, Atheists, people of all other religions from mean Christians? Will you do as Jesus would have done?

I call on all of you to defend us, and our right to believe what we want, even though you may think we are wrong, or even if you worry about us or our souls.

I know there are many of you out there that will. I've seen it today.
