I heard a poem today written from an unsaved friend to another who was saved about him never sharing Jesus and now he was facing the gates of hell. I dont know what it was called or where to look for it at. Thanks and God bless

How is capital punishment reconciled with Christianity? I am at a loss. A while ago I asked my pet antichrist (my high school math teacher), for some stupid reason - he went on for 15 minutes mumbling incoherently but I repeatedly heard him say "unless they commited heinous crimes". Is there more to the ten commandments' "Thou Shalt not Kill"?

The only explanation I have come up with is such - that man's act of killing degrades him; deprives him of the right to the soul. Therefore, as the biblical characters seem to have no problem killing various animals for various reasons (no i'm not a vegan), I assume that they have no problem slaying the Animal of Man.

Is this the reconciliation?

About a year ago, I left the Jehovah's Witness religion. I used to go to church 5 times a week, and I havn't gone at all in the past year. Plus, my parents are still in the religion and because of thier beleives have not talked to me in over a year. What religion is out there that is completly supportive to being open minded?

What makes you think that it's okay for my mother to say that she wants my life to end? Where are my rights? When are we going to take a stand and believe in the sanctity of human life,from the unborn through to children through to adults through to elderly?

People say Sunday is the "Lords Day" but its saids in Psalms 89:34 "my convenant will I not break nor altar the things is gone out of my lips and Luke 16:17 its saids "It is easier for a heaven and earth to pass than one tittle of the law to fail. But yet people think sunday is the holy day when its only mention it 8 TIMES in the New Testament and it doesn't say anything about it being holy day.

There so much overwhelming edvience that the Sabbath (Saturday) is the holy.
So if God didn't change the law who did? In Daniel 7:25 said that man would change the laws and times. In Mark 7 7-13 God will curse man who hold tradition of mankind over God's law. Sabbath will always be the last day of the week which is Saturday.

In Luke 23: 52 and 24:2. After Christ death, people still kept the Sabbath day (the last day of the week).

I need someone to tell why i should go to church on Sunday and give me good detail and bible verse.

God said "be" and there it was. Who is to say that evolution is not a system created by God? In Islam and Christianity, it is said that humans are made from mud and water. The scientists today claim that the first organism was formed through mixture of water and mud. So where does it say that "there was no evolution" in any of the religions? Why couldn't God have said "be" and use evolution as a tool of his creation?

And even the days are wrong He died on the cross on a Wed. and rose for the dead on a Sat. And the birth of Christ is no where near Dec. 25. Amen and Peace out.........

i am having some real trouble trying to understand His words because in John 15:21 he mentions “If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.”

the question i ask myself is, why in the first place did Jesus come and spoke to us and made us sin? Did he come to save us or to condemn us?

Some of these 14 year old girls, even 13 are wearing bikini's, short shorts, halter tops, sexy clothing, thongs even, and all of a sudden older men aren't supposed to be attracted to them? Their bodies look just as feminine if not better than older women, so why do we call these men dogs? How can you even tell what age they are?

They wear all of this makeup and flaunt their bodies around. It bothers me because these 'little' girls need to be held accountable for their behavior as well as their parents. If you don't want these girls being looked at then they should stop dressing the way they dress.
