People say Sunday is the "Lords Day" but its saids in Psalms 89:34 "my convenant will I not break nor altar the things is gone out of my lips and Luke 16:17 its saids "It is easier for a heaven and earth to pass than one tittle of the law to fail. But yet people think sunday is the holy day when its only mention it 8 TIMES in the New Testament and it doesn't say anything about it being holy day.

There so much overwhelming edvience that the Sabbath (Saturday) is the holy.
So if God didn't change the law who did? In Daniel 7:25 said that man would change the laws and times. In Mark 7 7-13 God will curse man who hold tradition of mankind over God's law. Sabbath will always be the last day of the week which is Saturday.

In Luke 23: 52 and 24:2. After Christ death, people still kept the Sabbath day (the last day of the week).

I need someone to tell why i should go to church on Sunday and give me good detail and bible verse.

We shouldn't; you're absolutely right; the day we should worship on is Saturday.

SABBATH/SABBATH FEAST DAYS

The Sabbath is from Friday Evening to Saturday Evening; Jews still keep it as some christians. No work is to be done this day.
Jesus himself told us to keep this day (John 4:22-24).
"Ye worship ye know not what; we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews." John 4:22
Notice Jesus was saying that we should worship Saturday like the Jews.

Look Sabbath up in Encyclopaedia Americana, Vol.24, pp.68-69.
The Calendar also tells us the 7th day is Saturday.

If you look up Genesis 1:8; it tells us that the evening and morning were the second day. Lev.23:32 says from evening to evening to celebrate the Sabbath.

GENESIS 2:2-3 "AND ON THE SEVENTH DAY GOD ENDED HIS WORK WHICH HE HAD MADE; AND HE RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY FROM ALL HIS WORK WHICH HE HAD MADE. AND GOD BLESSED THE THE SEVENTH DAY, AND SANCTIFIED IT: BECAUSE THAT IN IT HE HAD RESTED FROM ALL HIS WORK WHICH GOD CREATED AND MADE." {sanctify = to set apart; make holy}

EXODUS 20:8-11 "REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY, TO KEEP IT HOLY. SIX DAYS SHALT THOU LABOUR, AND DO ALL THY WORK: BUT THE SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH OF THE LORD THY GOD: IN IT THOU SHALT NOT DO ANY WORK, THOU, NOR THY SON, NOR THY DAUGHTER, THY MANSERVANT, NOR THY MAIDSERVANT, NOR THY CATTLE, NOR THY STRANGER THAT IS WITHIN THY GATES: FOR IN SIX DAYS THE LORD MADE HEAVEN AND EARTH, THE SEA, AND ALL THAT IN THEM IS, AND RESTED THE SEVENTH DAY: WHEREFORE THE LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH DAY, AND HALLOWED IT." {the 4th Commandment}

REV.14:7 "SAYING WITH A LOUD VOICE, FEAR GOD, AND GIVE GLORY TO HIM; FOR THE HOUR OF HIS JUDGEMENT IS COME; AND WORSHIP HIM THAT MADE HEAVEN, AND EARTH, AND THE SEA, AND THE FOUNTAINS OF WATER."{fear God means reverence him; also this text points back to the 4th Commandment}

LEV.23:3 "SIX DAYS SHALL WORK BE DONE: BUT THE SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH OF REST, AN HOLY CONVOCATION; YE SHALL DO NO WORK THERIN: IT IS THE SABBATH OF THE LORD IN ALL YOUR DWELLINGS."

DEUT.5:12-14 "KEEP THE SABBATH DAY TO SANCTIFY IT, AS THE LORD THY GOD HATH COMMANDED THEE. SIX DAYS SHALT THOU LABOUR, AND DO ALL THY WORK: BUT THE SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH OF THE LORD THY GOD: IN IT THOU SHALT NOT DO ANY WORK, THOU, NOR THY SON, NOR THY DAUGHTER, THY MANSERVANT, NOR THY MAIDSERVANT, NOR THINE OX, NOR THINE ***, NOR ANY OF THINE CATTLE, NOR THY STRANGER THAT IS WITHIN THY GATES: THAT THY MANSERVANT AND THY MAIDSERVANT MAY REST AS WELL AS THOU."

{Jesus's Example= "For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:..-1PETER 2:21}
LUKE 4:16 "AND HE CAME TO NAZARETH, WHERE HE HAD BEEN BROUGHT UP: AND, AS HIS CUSTOM WAS, HE WENT INTO THE SYNAGOGUE ON THE SABBATH DAY, AND STOOD UP TO READ."

MARK 2:23-28 "AND IT CAME TO PASS, THAT HE WENT THROUGH THE CORN FIELDS ON THE SABBATH DAY; AND HIS DISCIPLES BEGAN, AS THEY WENT, TO PLUCK THE EARS OF CORN. AND THE PHARISEES SAID UNTO HIM, BEHOLD, WHY DO THEY ON THE SABBATH DAY THAT WHICH IS NOT LAWFUL? AND HE SAID UNTO THEM, HAVE YE NEVER READ WHAT DAVID DID, WHEN HE HAD NEED, AND WAS AN HUNGRED, HE, AND THEY THAT WERE WITH HIM? HOW HE WENT INTO THE HOUSE OF GOD IN THE DAYS OF ABIATHAR THE HIGH PRIEST, AND DID EAT THE SHEW BREAD, WHICH IS NOT LAWFUL TO EAT BUT FOR THE PRIESTS, AND GAVE ALSO TO THEM WHICH WERE WITH HIM? AND HE SAID UNTO THEM, THE SABBATH WAS MADE FOR MAN, AND NOT MAN FOR THE SABBATH: THEREFORE THE SON OF MAN IS LORD ALSO OF THE SABBATH." {The Pharisees thought his disciples were breaking the Sabbath by plucking and eating corn; but Jesus told them it wasn't work. Jesus healed on the sabbath as helped people. On the Sabbath day you can even warm meals as boil water for oatmeal on the Sabbath. The work that you cannot do is cooking meals because it takes an hour or hours to cook or by staying in the fields to do hard labor or cleaning, shopping in the store, eating at restaurants and etc. The Pharisees were putting their laws on people. But Jesus came back to them, when he said "the Sabbath was made for man".}

{Apostles kept the Sabbath--Eph.2:20}
ACTS 17:2 "AND PAUL, AS HIS MANNER WAS, WENT IN UNTO THEM, AND THREE SABBATH DAYS REASONED WITH THEM OUT OF THE SCRIPTURES."

ACTS 18:4 "AND HE REASONED IN THE SYNAGOGUE EVERY SABBATH, AND PERSUADED THE JEWS AND THE GREEKS."

Now let's see if the Catholics know when the seventh day is.
"Ques.--Which is the Sabbath day?
"Ans.--Saturday is the Sabbath day.
"Ques.--Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?
"Ans.--We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday."--Peter Geiermann, The Convert's Catechism of Catholic Doctrine (1946 ed.), p.50. Geiermann received the "apostolic blessing" of Pope Pius x on his labors, Jan.25,1910. [bible readings pg.194]

"The Catholic Church...by virtue of her divine mission, changed the day from Saturday to Sunday."--The Catholic Mirror, official organ of Cardinal Gibbons, Sept. 23, 1893.

***Dan.7:25 "he shall think to change times and laws"

You said, "WHY DOES IT MATTER". It does when it comes down to it; you either have God's Seal(Rev.7:2-3) of the Sabbath Saturday or Satan's Mark(Rev.13:18; Rev.14:8-10; Deut.17:3) Sunday--the day of the sun.

Now there are other Sabbaths too; they're called Sabbath Feast Days. They are mentioned in the Bible too. LEV.23}
JESUS & THE APOSTLES KEEP THE SABBATH FEAST DAYS.
******************************...
JOHN 7:2,14 "NOW THE JEWS' FEAST OF TABERNACLES WAS AT HAND. NOW ABOUT THE MIDST OF THE FEAST JESUS WENT UP INTO THE TEMPLE AND TAUGHT."

MARK 14:12 "AND THE FIRST DAY OF UNLEAVENED BREAD, WHEN THEY KILLED THE PASSOVER, HIS DISCIPLES SAID UNTO HIM, WHERE WILT THOU THAT WE GO AND PREPARE THAT THOU MAYEST EAT THE PASSOVER?."

{The Apostles kept the Sabbath Feast Days}
ACTS 2:1 "AND WHEN THE DAY OF PENTECOST WAS FULLY COME, THEY WERE ALL WITH ONE ACCORD IN ONE PLACE."

ACTS 20:6 "AND WE SAILED AWAY FROM PHILIPPI AFTER THE DAYS OF UNLEAVENED BREAD, AND CAME UNTO THEM TO TROAS IN FIVE DAYS; WHERE WE ABODE SEVEN DAYS."

ACTS 20:16 "FOR PAUL HAD DETERMINED TO SAIL BY EPHESUS, BECAUSE HE WOULD NOT SPEND THE TIME IN ASIA: FOR HE HASTED, IF IT WERE POSSIBLE FOR HIM, TO BE AT JERUSALEM THE DAY OF PENTECOST."

ROM.5:11 "AND NOT ONLY SO, BUT WE ALSO JOY IN GOD THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, BY WHOM WE HAVE NOW RECEIVED THE ATONEMENT."

1COR.5:6-8 "YOUR GLORIFYING IS NOT GOOD. KNOW YE NOT THAT A LITTLE LEAVEN LEAVENTH THE WHOLE LUMP? PURGE OUT THEREFORE THE OLD LEAVEN,{bread, sin, corn,dust and dirt---(Lev.23:14)leavening agents are yeast, baking soda and baking powder}THAT YE MAY BE A NEW LUMP, AS YE ARE UNLEAVENED. FOR EVEN CHRIST OUR PASSOVER IS SACRIFICED FOR US: THEREFORE LET US KEEP THE FEAST, NOT WITH OLD LEAVEN, NEATHER WITH THE LEAVEN OF MALICE AND WICKEDNESS; BUT WITH THE UNLEAVENED BREAD OF SINCERITY AND TRUTH."

1COR.16:8 "BUT I WILL TARRY AT EPHESUS UNTIL PENTECOST."

1THESS.4:16 "FOR THE LORD HIMSELF SHALL DESCEND FROM HEAVEN WITH A SHOUT, WITH THE VOICE OF THE ARCHANGEL, AND WITH THE TRUMP OF GOD: AND THE DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE FIRST:..." {feast of trumpets}

{7th Day Sabbath & God's Feasts in both kingdoms of heaven}
ISAIAH 66:22-23 "FOR AS THE NEW HEAVENS AND THE NEW EARTH, WHICH I WILL MAKE, SHALL REMAIN BEFORE ME, SAITH THE LORD, SO SHALL YOUR SEED AND YOUR NAME REMAIN.AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS, THAT FROM ONE NEW MOON TO ANOTHER, AND FROM ONE SABBATH TO ANOTHER, SHALL ALL FLESH COME TO WORSHIP BEFORE ME, SAITH THE LORD."

ZECHARIAH 14:1,16-19 "BEHOLD, THE DAY OF THE LORD COMETH, AND THY SPOIL SHALL BE DIVIDED IN THE MIDST OF THEE. AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS, THAT EVERY ONE THAT IS LEFT OF ALL THE NATIONS WHICH CAME AGAINST JERUSALEM SHALL EVEN GO UP FROM YEAR TO YEAR TO WORSHIP THE KING, THE LORD OF HOSTS, AND TO KEEP THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES. AND IT SHALL BE, THAT WHOSO WILL NOT COME UP OF ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH UNTO JERUSALEM TO WORSHIP THE KING, THE LORD OF HOSTS, EVEN UPON THEM SHALL BE NO RAIN.
AND IF THE FAMILY OF EGYPT GO NOT UP, AND COME NOT, THAT HAVE NO RAIN; THERE SHALL BE THE PLAGUE, WHEREWITH THE LORD WILL SMITE THE HEATHEN THAT COME NOT UP TO KEEP THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES.
THIS SHALL BE PUNISHMENT OF EGYPT, AND THE PUNISHMENT OF ALL NATIONS THAT COME NOT UP TO KEEP THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES."

{So if you see Sabbath Feasts Calendar; it will explain all of these. Now for example:}
Before the Passover; you have to get the leaven out of your dwelling.
Passover of 2007 is the evening of April 1. What you do is prepare--do blessing of passover--drink wine in a small glass followed by unleavened bread; you also do footwashing; this is all done in your house with believers of family or church members--Also you say sorry for your sins before you partake of the Lord's Supper. 1Cor.11:20-28.

Unleavened Bread--First and last day is Holy, so no work; you do worship that day!
No bread, dust, dirt or corn anywhere til Unleavened Bread has past.

Pentecost--receive God's Spirit. It is a holy day; you do worship that day.

Feast of Trumpets--Worship and Holy Day.

Day of Atonement(Yom Kippur)--a day for fasting and repentance; abstain completely from food and drink; keep holy, do worship--Lev.23:7-8.

Feast of Tabernacles--the first day & 8th day is holy; do worship
Usually you can go to a Motel, seperate dwelling place or tent you can live in during this period. My family do the tent during the feast.

JESUS'S DEATH

**JESUS DIED WEDNESDAY APRIL 14, 31AD at 3pm.

A good foundation (1Tim.6:19) has solid ground evidence. The foundation should include 2Tim.3:16; Isaiah 28:9-10; 2Peter 1:19-21; 1Thess.5:20-21 & Ephes.5:9-10,13. To understand deeply--you must use these websites:

If you read Daniel 9:27; it says "he died in the middle of the week"; that would be Wednesday. This is followed by "3 days & 3 nights" = Matthew 12:40 which equals 1-24hr.day x 3days equals 72hrs. in grave. Next the Bible tells us it would be "after 3days and "not before = Matt.27:63-64 and Mark 8:31. It tells us in three days (John 2:19-21) and not after. The Bible also reminds us a day is 12hrs. not including the night(John 11:9-10). Remember also Gen.1:5 and Lev.23:32 tells us "evening to evening" is considered to be a day.

Now I know this is true because the MAJORITY(Matt.7:13) is always wrong. Also there's many clues that it wasn't a Friday crucifixion and a Sunday resurrection; look at 2Tim.2:18. But you will point out Mark 16:9 which says "Now when Jesus was risen[the perfect tense is correct here--he was already risen] early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene." Now the original Greek didn't have no punctuation. If the King James translators put a comma after the word "risen" and not after "week", this would make complete sense. The Centenary Translation renders it this way: "Now after his resurrection, early on the first day of the week he appeared first to Mary Magdalene

WHO IS THE ANTI-CHRIST?

I'm going to put this in a simple way for you to understand it. Anti-Christ means "against Christ"; in other words is against Jesus and his teachings.
PHIL.2:21 "FOR ALL SEEK THEIR OWN, NOT THE THINGS WHICH ARE JESUS CHRIST'S."

The Anti-Christ is the "lawless one"; the "man of sin" which "opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped..." 2Thess.2:3-4

DANIEL 7:25 tells us "HE SHALL SPEAK GREAT WORDS AGAINST THE MOST HIGH, AND SHALL WEAR OUT THE SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH, AND THINK TO CHANGE TIMES AND LAWS..."

ROM.1:25 = "WHO CHANGED THE TRUTH OF GOD INTO A LIE, AND WORSHIPPED AND SERVED THE CREATURE MORE THAN THE CREATOR, WHO IS BLESSED FOR EVER. AMEN."

Evidence: (Catholics know when the seventh day is)
"1. Is Saturday the 7th day occording to the Bible & the 10 Commandments.

"2. Is Sunday the first day of the week & did the Church change the 7th day--Saturday---for Sunday, the 1st. day:

{Note: Catholics even changed the time you do the Sabbath too. They say "midnight to midnight"; when the Bible says "evening to evening" according to Genesis 1:5,8,13,19,23,31 and Lev.23:32.}

TEN COMMANDMENTS IN OLD TESTAMENT
1. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.
2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath. or that is in the water under the earth: thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation that hate Me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep my commandments.
3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain.
4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work; but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.
5. Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
6. Thou shalt not kill.
7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8. Thou shalt not steal.
9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ***, nor anything that is thy neighbor's.

MARK OF THE BEAST/IMAGE OF THE BEAST

Mark of the Beast is a (Rev.17:13)Form of Government(Roman Empire is always stamped with the number 666 in Greek and Hebrew; the two languages from the Bible); it has an ecclesiastical and a civil government(Rev.13:11).The pope is both a religious leader as a civil head of state.The Mark of the Beast will probably be forced by Sunday Law as it was back then. It will be when the the Pope uses the power of the state (beast) to force his will to the world; to worship this system. It is a brand of disobedience; it's not a physical mark(compare Rev.14:10 with Col.3:6); just like the Seal of God in Deut.6:8{knowing, doing and keeping the Sabbath holy}and Rev.7:2-3 is not a literal mark. {"The hand is a symbolic of actions, while the forehead is the seat of intellect. Obedience to God involves both actions (hand) and will(forehead)".}

The early church met upon the first day of the week. This can be seen both in history and Scripture.

It is the day Jesus rose from the dead (Mark 16:1-2)

The church began on Pentecost (Acts 2). Pentecost was always on the first day of the week.

Acts 20:7 says, "Upon the first day of the week when the disciples gathered together..."

Early Christians were commanded to collect an offering on the first day of the week. (1 Corinthians 16:2)

When Christians meet upon the first day of the week, they are following Biblical (New Testament) examples and commands.

Many of the verses you cited were from the Old Testament. We are now under the New Testament. The New Testament came into effect when Jesus died and rose from the grave. (Hebrews 9:15-17)

The old law was fulfilled in Christ. The purpose of the old law was to bring us to Christ. (Gal. 3:24)

Since the old law was nailed to the cross with Christ (Colossians 2:14), now no man can now judge us by the old ceremonies, nor based on keeping Sabbath days. (Colossians 2:16)

If we are trying to justify ourselves by following the old law, then the New Testament says we are "fallen from grace". (Galatians 5:4) Also, if we are binding any part of the law, then we are “debtor to do the whole law”. In Galatians 5:3, some were trying to bind the Old Testament commandment of circumcision. Paul said, “For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.” To bring that one item over from the Old Law, one must keep the whole Law.

If we bring the Sabbath day from the Law of Moses, then by the same authority, we must offer animal sacrifices, make yearly trips to Jerusalem, have a Levitical priesthood, and keep all of the feasts. “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” (James 2:10)

In the part of the world where I am located, almost no one goes to church. A recent survey said less than 3% of the population did.
I know 40 years ago I met a lady that said that she went every Sunday.

Matthew 26 recalls the last supper of Jesus Christ in which he began the sacrament that he commanded all Christians to repeat often in memory of him. By attending The Church, you can learn about God’s plan for you, receive necessary ordinances such as baptism, and obtain the spiritual guidance you need to be happy in life and return to live with your Heavenly Father. Also, church gives you an oppertunity to receive the sacrament, which testifies to Heavenly Father that you are a deciple and willing to follow his commandments. Jesus said, do this often in memory of me. God has commanded man to keep the sabbath day Holy. We need to do rightious things on Sunday and observe Heavenly Father on that day.

You don't need to go to church on Sunday. No one will force you to go to church on Sunday. Anyone who has studied a "tittle" knows that the traditional sabbath is Saturday, but the law is that we honor the sabbath day to keep it holy. I think anyone who "honors" their commitments and keeps a day set aside as holy is keeping that commandment. The day itself is not important, it's honoring a day as the sabbath that keeps the commandment. I have no problem with that.

I don't know exactly how to say this. I'm going to try and be as polite as I can.

There are people out there dying for lack of knowledge about who Jesus is. You honestly want to make an issue out of what day to go to church?

Suggestion. Seek God for awhile about your priorities. And, reacquaint yourself with His word: "let no man judge you on what holy days you keep".

I don't believe that you really have to go to church on Sunday. I've gone to church on Saturday and Friday before. It says in Romans that some consider one day more sacred then another but we shouldn't judge them if the do*. I'm not against going to church on Saturday or any other day.

*Romans 14:5-7
5One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. 6He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord. He who eats meat, eats to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains, does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself alone. 8If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
