According to Scripture NOTHING evolved but everything was created "AFTER THEIR KIND"....which is directly consistent with the fossil record.
"From the beginning of the Creation God made them male and female..."-- Jesus (Mk. 10:6)
Scripture says God SPOKE all things into existence with His Word:
" By the Word of the Lord were the heavens created, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.... For HE SPAKE AND IT WAS DONE; HE COMMANDED AND IT STOOD FAST". (psalm 33:6-9)
You cannot believe BOTH the Scripture and evolution theory.

It's not evolution exactly that they have a problem with, it's what it contradicts that they don't like.
Evolution dictates that all life, including man, evolved from an earlier ancestor. Despite their arguments this has been proven to be a true observation of the world around us.
However, for this to be true we cannot have been created in the image of a god and therefore the creation stories of Abrahamic religions - Judaism, Christianity and Islam - are all not literally true.
One of the other problems is that without the original sin committed by Adam & Eve in Genesis there is no need for the sacrifice of Jesus in the new testament. Obviously this idea is the one that Christians dislike the most.
What gets me is that one of the biggest proponents of the idea of original sin, the Catholic church, has already agreed that evolution is a fact.

God didn't "create" evolution. a guy named darwin did. and its not true because there have been evidencial prove that evolution is not real. think about it. how could the earth, all the planets, the solar system, the whole everything make itself? and if you're not convinced, go outside and pick up a rock, cuddle it against your shoulder and say "i love you grandpa!" scientists say that monkey's brains are similar to humans, and they've found fossils that were mistaken for half-monkey-half-human heads, but were really just some other kind of fossil. God made everything.

Your point is well taken, and the first response is utterly typical of the counterargument. However, evolution is now a proven fact, so if the biblical accounts differ (as they arguably do), they are wrong. But there are far more profound errors in the bible than that -- indeed, there are hundreds. See:

I have a feeling God created but satan had his hand in evolution. This is my own theory which I have decided not to pursue. My service to Him doesn't require this answer and spending that much time thinking about satan was damaging to my spirit.

I'm with you, God said let it be and it became he gave a name for everything and put them into existence, remember, One day to god is thousands of years for us so when the bible says he spoke and it became it might be quick for God but thousands of years to happen for us. God built the earth in 6 days does it mean our six days? No of course not. His space time and mass are completely differnet than ours.

whatever evolution is, it is evident that the theory cannot be true because God made us in his own image. male and female created he them. so are you insinuating that God's image is that of a monkey or anything of that sort because clearly he is'nt like a money, he is a spirit! we didn't evolve and neither did he. we just, have developed over the years. walking upright is something we have always been doing and if not are we going to keep evolving and start bending backwards. no i don't think so. evolution is just not logical.

It is refreshing to see someone actually THINKING.
There is much to your question that could lead to valuable understanding.
However, it should be borne in mind that "evolution" is a constant, while "Darwinism" is a fallacy.
Each Species is evolving toward a higher manifestation of itself, including Man; but Nature does not support nor demand one species "transforming" into another species.
If we can sincerely seek to reconcile the apparent differences between "science" and "religion", we may just come up with the Truth.

Perhaps he did not say "BE" because he wants us to believe and trust. He could do any number of things that would prove or leave little or no doubt. What would that gain? Yes, most everyone would know He is, as He says. Obviously, that is not what He wants.
