If He had not come and told, (or shown), them their sins, they wouldn't have known they were sinning.
And now that they have been enlightened, they have no excuse for continuing on in sin.
Jesus came to save... His death on the cross was payment for our sins - - - - "IF" we confess our sins to Him!

First off, I think you need to try a different translation, because what the verse John 15:21 actually says is "The people of the world will hate you because you belong to me, for they don't know God who sent me". Verse 22 continues "They would not be guilty if I had not come and spoken to them. But now they have no excuse for their sin".
Jesus didn't make anyone sin. Satan is the father of sin. We have been sinners since the existence of Adam and Eve. Basically, Jesus came to uncover peoples sin.. To let people realize that the things they were doing are wrong and that in order to go to heaven they must change. Sinners have nothing to hide their sin anymore, because Christ came and let everyone know what was expected of them and what would be accepted.

Christ was not teaching here that if He had not come, then men would not have been sinners.
From the time of Adam, all men had been sinners. But their sin would not have been nearly so great as it now was.
These men had seen the Son of God and heard His words. They could find no fault in Him whatever. Yet they rejected Him. It was this that made their sin so great. And so it was a matter of comparison. Compared with their terrible sin of rejecting the Lord of glory, their other sins were as nothing.
Now they had no excuse for their sin. They had rejected the Light of the world!
Some refer to this as the unforgiveable sin-- that with full and conscious knowledge a person refuses to believe.

the problem is, the bible is taught as literal. People in Jesus' day spoke through word of mouth (most people, not all, as the stories were written down years down the road) but the point is, stories get changed through word of mouth. The bible isn't literal, but people take it this way, There are errors because it came from man, even if inspired from God, it was not directly written by God, so there are going to be errors. Not to mention scripture was changed to promote personal peoples agendas (aka see the counsel of Nicaea)
he was here to help us with our journey and teach us things we didnt know. A spiritual guide if you will. He didnt come to condemn us, that is a scare tactic used by the church. *sorry if this sounds negative, it was not said on this end like that

Jesus was talking about the Pharisees. Jesus came to save us.
Our own actions condemned us when we chose to give Satan dominion over this world by believing his lies and eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Here is a tip for you. First off, receive ye the Holy Ghost, THEN read the WHOLE Bible so that you can understand it completely.

definite. Jesus paid the superb fee for sins. Jesus is God and the only way into heaven. John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, i'm the way, the fact, and the existence: no guy cometh unto the father, yet by technique of me." everybody has the possibility to get stored and everybody needs stored so get stored now. =) Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the call of the Lord would be stored." Please pray a hassle-free prayer with all your coronary heart admitting to Jesus you're a sinner. Have finished faith that His blood will pay off all your sins and settle for His present of eternal existence. I pray that God blesses you with peace. Amen.

The sin that Jesus referred to in John 15:22 is the sin of unbelief in Him. Under the New Covenant if we believe in Jesus Christ all our sins will be forgiven, past, present and future. It is this sin of unbelief in Jesus Christ that will cause anyone not to be cleansed of all their sins and not to enjoy eternal life. It is not that we are sinners that we disqualify ourselves from heaven but only that we do not believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." John 3:17 (NIV)
**straight from the Bible**
hopes this answers your question.
Might I suggest that you try reading a different version of the Bible if you find it hard to understand the wording of one particular version.
I usually look to the New International Version. (NIV)... the New King James Version (NKJV) is also good...
God Bless.

The Savior tells us:
For behold, I . . . have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer . . . even as I.
Jesus Christ did what only He could do in atoning for our sins. To make His Atonement fully effective in our individual lives, we must have faith in Christ, repent of our sins, be baptized, receive the Holy Ghost, obey God's commandments, and strive to become like Him. As we do these things through His Atonement, we can return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father forever.
