Nothing right? Since you base your belief on faith rather than on factual evidence or plausible theories.

So what's the use of trying to counter Atheistic questions or remarks with Biblical quotes that none of us ever reads?

Why not take a shortcut and discuss with your own arguments?

Why borrow someone else's words?

Why not show us some tangible, foolproof evidence of what you say is right?

Why not prove us wrong with compelling evidence that can only be explained through God and NOTHING ELSE?

Are they reputable and is the merchandise quality? I like the thought of "wearing my faith on my sleeve" and I like the way their tees look, especially the messages, has anyone ordered one before? Good experience or no?

This is just a hypothetical question. What if there were no apes, gorillas, orangutans, or chimps? What if the closest relative to humans was the pig? Would any atheists change their views on evolution and creationism? Why or why not?

Okay....so I was reading through the boards and a lotta peeps were like there's no God or divine being or anything....so if you don't believe in God then where do you think your gonna go when you die? Nowhere....right? Well wouldn't it make more sense to believe in something that promises you eternal afterwords, IF its true, then to just live life knowing that your going nowhere? I mean worstcase at the end of your life you go nowhere just like you'd expect but if you actually do end up having an after life you'll have me to thank. :) i hope my question makes sense it may be a lil confusing.

Simple question, how many of the individuals out there, who believe that the universe came into being due to some divine intervention or creation, actually have a decent education?

I take the word of a published Physics or Chemistry Professor over that of a "Wrath-o-god" spewing housewife personally; does this seem sensible?

This isn't a question about evolution or anything.

If the universe is God's creation then why do most Christians not study science to learn about it? You guys will study hours and hours on the spiritual side but not on the natural side? Why not learn how God's creation works?

If we could effectively kill the national pride and patriotism of just one generation, we will have won that country. By making readily available drugs of various kinds, by giving the teenager alcohol, by praising his wildness, by stimulating him with sex literature, and by advertising to him and her (psycho political preparation). We can create the necessary attitude of chaos, idleness, and worthlessness.”

during a very risky operation a woman was able to recall conversations between the surgeons and thier assistants, discribe the tools they used to drill away at the anurism at the base of her brain... whilst actually, cliniclly dead, with half her brain out on the operating table. baffaled the scientists who had obviously monitered her the whole time... well, she had better had made the whole thing pretty quickly, as according to scientists we have no memory whilst we are "clinically dead" and further analyasis led to the discovery that it is possible for parts of the brain to operate outside of the body, but for how long???
whats your views...and experiences???

I've met atheists that think science is 100% true and explains everything, but they get flustered when I point out contradictions and start talking about spaghetti and meatballs. I have found atheists that claim Jesus never existed, but they get flustered when I show them evidence otherwise. Does this narrow-minded (minority, maybe) group of atheists give the greater american atheist community a bad rep? So many of the atheists today are misinformed and eager to debate christians when they dont even know the basics of their own beliefs yet. If 1 atheist tries to debate a christian without understanding science, and gets crushed, doesn't this also embarrass the entire atheist movement? How can they convert the masses to their new brand of idealogy when their missionaries do not understand their faith completely?

I am currently 5-1/2 months pregnant and not yet married (engaged). I work with a guy who is SUPER religious and may be something close to Mennonite. This person & I always got along great until he found out that I was pregnant. Now, he will not speak to me or even acknowledge my presence. It's making for very difficult working conditions. Has anyone ever experienced this? Why would someone who is a self-proclaimed uber-Christian be so judgmental and childish? What would cause someone to be so brainwashed?
