during a very risky operation a woman was able to recall conversations between the surgeons and thier assistants, discribe the tools they used to drill away at the anurism at the base of her brain... whilst actually, cliniclly dead, with half her brain out on the operating table. baffaled the scientists who had obviously monitered her the whole time... well, she had better had made the whole thing pretty quickly, as according to scientists we have no memory whilst we are "clinically dead" and further analyasis led to the discovery that it is possible for parts of the brain to operate outside of the body, but for how long???
whats your views...and experiences???

What you describe is merely the sub conscious mind active. This is not anything new and has been documented often. I do not believe in so called 'near death' experiences. You are either dead or you're not. These so called near death visions or experiences are again merely the sub conscious aloowed to come out an play while you are unconscious, under during an operation, etc.

in my experience i had an AVM(arterial vein malfunction)the small veins in the brain wrap around an artery cutting of the blood flow, born with it i had no knowledge of it thinking my headaches were just the same as everyones,i had nothing to compare to i had to have 3 embulizations and each one resulted in seizing so they gave me 80 percent chance of dying in the surgery,i opted to trust and give my life to God and had 2 brain surgeries1(12) 1(16)hr surgery, the first surgery caused the opposite artery to rupture from the force of blood it resulted in the second while on the table i died they revived me with the paddles,i had told my husband prior to the paddles to tell the nurse it had ruptured, the nurse told him there was no way i would or could know that but they sent one of the twelve doctors and he was the one that used the paddles i was put on life support and in a coma for 9 and one half days God had told me before the operation i would walk again and He has led me for 15yrs to keep my arm free and i walk i have to take 800ccs of botox every 3 mths I am a living testimony God is real and still performs miracles.......God Bless

Let's see the documentation.

Further, she was not brain-dead, so her brain was still functioning and all her sensory processes were still valid ... only her sense of consciousness was impared.

That you can remember things from when you are not conscious is not new or novel, it's a fairly well understood phenomenon, a consequence of the intense interconnectedness of the brain.

For the record, I've had a near death experience myself. I remain an atheist.

nicely, i've got had extremely comparable stories, although the sole distinction is i'm continuously asleep. you notice this is like a dream, different than you are able to no longer awaken truthfully. you are able to no longer flow plenty as your pinky. It sounds such as you're ineffective or in a coma. Then somebody tries to choke you to dying, you are able to no longer see that individual for this is dark interior your head. yet in the tip that somebody became into in basic terms attempting to deliver an end on your suffering. you will no longer think of what it feels opt for to be alive yet can't flow or communicate. Can extremely breathe...

I believe in near death experiences.

Have you read Maurice S. Rawlings books called "Beyond Death's Door" and "To Hell and Back"?
