Has the Lord revealed to you how you will edify the Church? It has been told to me by several Christians that I am to be a prophetess and a witness, and that the Lord will use me in ministry. But I am still waiting on Him. So how about it? Do you know or are you still waiting?

It's an accepted fact that there are 24 hours in a day. We know this by the rotation of the planet and the rising and setting of the sun. For all of those who take the bible as a historical document opposed to a proposed way of life; if the sun wasn't created on the first or second day, how can we assume that the time before was equal to the time after? Can you really rule out the possibility of that time being say, 10 million years, if the very thing that which you measure time with didn't exsist yet?

I wonder by following Christ we are supposed to get to heaven exactly how we are sure if we are following Christ or misled ourselves thinking we are, and then die and judged accordingly.TY?

How could you let the media get away with this? They did not even let the poor girl talk. Why does TV encourage people to hate the true un-rebelliouse christians?Why do these muslims, atheists, buddhists, pagans, and sinners spread so much hate? Why can't you just stop being rebelouse and accept Christ?Why do you atheist try to brainwash people with your propaganda to hate us poor Christians? Would the man be committing a sin by God for protecting his daughter from dying a brutal death where the punishment clearly does not fit the "crime",if there even were one committed....

Just for the sake of argument, back thousands of years ago in the middle East, knowing that God is the author of the Old Testament and is responsible for Deuteronomy. esp 22:13-21

I'm a Born Again Christian, and this is a group of people that get slammed the most by so many especially Hollywood,(TV, Movies, Media). But, yet don't say anything else about a religious group or organization or there is recourse. Maybe if you tried it instead of making fun you'd find the blessings that we find in our beliefs. Christ died so we would live. And He is always there even in hard times.

I posted an argument awhile ago against creationism and had some truly thoughtful responses. I am not against religion or spirituality, I just disdain those who choose to ignore the growing BODY OF EVIDENCE that supports the theory of evolution. Are the foundations of faith so tenable as to not be able to withstand thoughtful consideration or other alternatives? Truthfully, if a convincing argument were to be presented that was to refute evolution, I would immediately change my position. That’s the beauty of an open mind. In my previous question I was seeking that convincing argument. I too, am a spiritual person and am envious of those who can follow their hearts with "faith". How nice it must be to not have those niggling questions about eternity and the soul constantly hounding you. Alas, the path of inquisitiveness makes for a long and lonely walk. I can assure you, I find my own ignorance anything but blissful.

u honestly think that he was preaching for people to worship jesus. or he was worshiping jesus who was not born yet???

doesnt it make sense that jesus is a prophet of god,a dn all prophets had the same message " worhip only one god"?
otherwose, would abraham, will not go to heaven because he did not bow to jesus christ. as well as all the prophets after him.

islam says all people who followed jesus true message " worship god, my creator" and all the people before who folowed the other prophets of god will go to heaven. but only those who did not distort the message.
god told the prophets to tell their people the same message. islam just means submit to god, it has nothing to do with prophet mohammed pbuh, he did not create the religion, he just carried it on from previous prophets.
abraham left his trie because of idolatory, not to go and idolise jesus the human created by god. he is miraculus, not god.

It's not pushy, and is at the core really more philosophy than religion. No institution (ok there is, but those are ad-ons made by the regular power seekers), no "Hell" and true Hinduism is nothing like paganism or greco/roman gods. I'll probably get a bunch of hate from brainwashed Christians, but us Hindus and Buddhsits don't have answers and commands laid out for us in our religions, so I may not be able to counter them Like science, Eastern religions don't claim to know everything. And could you Atheists actually live by the purely philosophical cores of the religions (the parts where gods aren't even mentioned)?

Im a creationist, and I wont lie. So now that we got all that out of the way. Lets focus on this.

Correct me if im wrong: According to science.

The world began somewhere between 7-20 billion years ago.
The earth itself about 4 billion.
The FIRST LIFE was single celled organisms.
Then from there evolution goes on its cycle.

THE FUNDAMENTAL PROBLEM: If the first life was single celled organisms that appeared AFTER the earths creation, then how did the life get started if there WASNT any life to begin with.

You might counter this question by saying that a comet carrying the organisms hit earth.

But the same question arises, how did inanimate(non living) matter become living reproduceable life.

Since 1863 scientists have been trying to find away to create life from inanimate matter, and they cant do it.

Among other horrible circumstances which characterize the perilous days at the end of this age (2 Tim. 3:1-5) is general deception from evil people:

Evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. (2 Tim 3:13)
When a person is deceived they are misled by false appearance or statement. Such a person thinks things are one way when in reality they are a different way. This sort of thing will abound in the last days, especially religiously.
Jesus WARNED Christians About Religious Deception!
The first thing Jesus mentioned when He answered the disciples' questions about the sign of His coming and the end of the age was to watch out for religious deceivers:
Jesus answered: Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. (Mat 24:4, 5)
False Prophets
The Lord also mentioned the success that false prophets will have in their deceptions. This should cause all Christians to stay on their spiritual guard, for many will be deceived:
Many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. (Mat 24:11)
Miracle-Performing False Prophets and False Christs
The Lord went on to give specifics about how the false Christs and false prophets will deceive people:
For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. (Mat 24:24)
For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect—if that were possible. (Mark 13:22)
