Has the Lord revealed to you how you will edify the Church? It has been told to me by several Christians that I am to be a prophetess and a witness, and that the Lord will use me in ministry. But I am still waiting on Him. So how about it? Do you know or are you still waiting?

a lot of times the lord will show you your gifts and sometimes He'll reveal them to other people just remember who you take councel from test the spirits to see if they are true , if you don't know what your gifts are and if you have been a christian for a long period of time it could be God is waiting on you to let something go and step out in faith to open your eyes and truly trust inHim

Hello,

Very Good Question! Well, I don't know what my spiritual gift is, however I do know that I have a desire to teach, and this desire has been with me a long time. So I guess I can say that I am still waiting on the Lord. Thank You!

The gifts go without repentance. So I would wait on God and just see where He leads you. Sometimes our hearts have to get to a certain point where we are conditioned to handle responsibilities that God places on us. Follow Him and when the time is right, you will know it. Like the first thing I wrote, it goes without repentance. If God places a gift in your life, you can't repent for not doing so. (Romans 11:29) God Bless.

I was once told by a devout Christian woman in India that I would be an ambassador for Christ. At the time, I was a Buddhist and had no intention of changing. Two years later, I had a profound spiritual experience and began reading the Bible in earnest.

Paul says (1 Corinithians 12) that faith itself is a gift from God. We don't get it until He wants us to have it.

Keep in mind that just because other people tell you you will be a prophetess, that doesn't mean that is God's plan for you.

The best way to experience what he has in store for you is to ask for it. It's very simple - just ask to be prepared to receive the gift, and have a willing heart to accept whatever you're given. It's possible you'll be expected to serve rather than prophecy, or to teach, or to care for others. If you want something specific, ask for it, but be equally as willing to be blessed by what is given.

I've had different gifts at different times; in my case, my gifts change as new things become necessary to the people around me.

Good luck, and God bless.

I was given a gift that has lasted my whole life. It came as an ability to relieve pains and heal others with my hands. It began with a dog, when I was very young.

Both animals and people have benefitted since then. The glow that comes when using this gift is beautiful, and it is humbling, as the results appear right away. I am very thankful that I have been allowed to help others, both animals and people.

I know the areas where my giftings lie... God empowers me in different areas at different times, depending on where He is calling me to serve. I can thankfully say, NO THANKS when people decide what i should do when i know if God wants me to 'do' whatever, He will guide me... not people who want to find someone to do a 'job' they dont' wanna do.

I've had others tell me what they see as my giftings.... sometimes i have to laugh cuz they clearly don't understand what Spiritual gifts are!

God will also give new ones and remove current ones, so be prepared to have things change over time!

God Bless

The last Prophet of God to mankind was John The Baptist. mankind has been given all that it needs to come to God in The Way he prescribes... there are no "prophets" or "prophetess' " today.... those of The Church receive, individualy, what God has for them. But The Word of God has been given to mankind... there is no further need to expand upon it... any who claim to be doing so are in violation of The Word of God..... as for me... I am still waiting... perhaps it is my thing to be here on YA for now... in all things I hope I am doing as God would have me do... but... like all.. I am bound to fail from time to time...

Your gifts are what you possess as a human, your love, your giving and your community spirit, your ability to spread goodness into the world. We all are part of the church of God, because we are all connected to each other and to the holy spirit. We all have to open our minds and our hearts to accept the gift that God bestows.
