This is for those who believe. I want to hear the personal experiences which led to that belief. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

God Bless!

I try to be a good decent person, I try my hardest.
I am not sure if there is a god or not because I feel like if there was I wouldn't have gone thru so much crap in my life....I mean stuff I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy!!! If God loves me he wouldn't have put me thru all that, IF there is a God!!!
I hope there is a heaven - I don't even want to fathom "Nothingness" ya know??
I typically shy away from christians because they tend to push their faith in your face & act like they are better than you because of it, well tonight you get your chance to try to convert someone!!!
How do YOU know that there is a God & Heaven & How do you know you have a soul??? Bible verses typically don't mean anything to me & I don't read long lists of them BUT if you have 1 or 2 that are really relavent you can use them!!!
I would prefer to hear from YOU rather than a book!!
PLEASE be kind to me....I'm emotionally fragile right now.
Thanks!!

What would you think if, after the treatment at camp, your child no longer used their left hand, but their writing and coordination with their right hand remained really poor?

Would that be a success in the eyes of God?

Nature is both fertile and fickle. Nature can be warm and nourishing, but at the same time, it can also be unpredictable and destructive. Most deities throughout the ages -- especially the judeo-christian god -- reflect this paradox. People associate warmth and the harvest with god's loving side; they associate natural disasters and famine with god's jealous wrath. Therefore, the invention of a deity makes man feel more in control of this completely uncontrollable force by giving nature "moods" and "emotions".

What do you guys think?

Yes, I'm aware that this is just another "chicken or egg" question. But its interesting, at least.

I know this may come as a joke but once I was possessed, the strangest thing in my life my friends saw what happened; they are christians and they started praying, I drift in and out of christianity. I was saying things and quoting scriptures (i am not a biblically versed person) .i remember i couldn't control what i was saying i was frothing and twisting. At nights I still have strange dreams of what will happen...the other night i dreamt of a bombing in pakistan and then when i woke up, i saw that i had an "unopened" yahoo alert on my phone, yah, the same bombing in pakistan. I really can't take this anymore, what should i do? the dreams never stop.

Christian claim:

"He would be a radical pacifist who believes in loving people who want to murder you and your family. He would uphold the 'meek' of the earth above the producers and achievers."

Islamic claim:

"He would be a man thats not afraid to lead battles of warfare against declared enemies (over 20 battles). He would help assert Gods will through any means necessary to establish God's law. He might even own slaves and marry 9 yr old children, after all, who are we to question God's means?"

In reference to my previous question:

Therefore, make it your habit to confess your sins to one another and to pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." (James 5:16)

Can you believe in God and still go to heaven? One certain person tells me you have to be saved and you will go to heaven. Believing just isn't enough. I believe in God. I just don't see why you have to be saved to go to Heaven. Is there even a Heaven or Hell? And how do we know? Besides what you read in the bible.

I'm a little confused on this issue. Does scripture say to confess to eachother AND God or just God...

My old school was a very strict Baptist school and they said that CCM was "not acceptable to God". I totally disagree with that, and I listen to MercyMe, Steven Curtis Chapman, Hawk Nelson, Sanctus Real, Switchfoot...... and I don't see a problem with it. It's good music with a great message about God and all that he has done for us. What's wrong with that? I would love to get your opinion on this!

I was thinking green. But the Jedi gods told me in a vision to go fuschio. I don't even know what fuschio is. Shall I just duel and slay the Jedi gods? I mean, I could do it...just have to borrow the Death Star.

Both argue the same points, both have the same evidence, both can't be proven. Would you make fun of something who worshipped the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Based on what?

In Biblical times it was essentially "illegal" for women to learn. Therefore, the female disciples of Christ should have been publicaly punished for disobedience, but Christ allowed them to follow him and learn his teachings... it doesn't sound like the Bible is so anti-feminism to me.

"For 6 centuries there has been a Jewish Krakow-think of that-by this evening, those 6 centuries are a rumor, they never happened." Relate this statement of Amon Goeth to Hitler's hopes for the Third Reich.
