I agree that some people behave that way but I disagree with believing on that basis.

As long as your beliefs aren't hurting anyone else then you stick to your guns! If alot more people in this world were principled then there would be alot less awful stuff going on. Do what makes you happy and forget everyone else...your beliefs aren't dumb because they're yours

I don't know you well enough to know if your beliefs are dumb, or if they make you feel good, but I hope you at least keep your mind open to the possibility that you can always improve yourself, and always seek greater knowledge and understanding.

When you fall off a cliff it might feel good to believe your not falling to your death. But the belief that your safe when prevent you from finding a way to save yourself.

i know that SOME folks (maybe even MOST folks) THINK my beliefs are dumb, but the opinion of MOST folks doesn't matter because i know whose opinion truly matters, and i'm sticking with Him...
