We had as similar question earlier and what I found out is this:

Pre flood you have to deduce the eating of animals or at least the killing of them. In the creation account Adam and Eve were given dominion over the creatures, but they seemed to eat fruits of the trees. After the fall God killed animals to cover their nakedness and thus began the shedding of blood for the remission of sin.

Cain was a "farmer" and Abel a "Shepard" Abel's sacrifice to God was pleasing and Cain's was not (though I do not necessarily believe it was due to the gift, but rather the spirit and type given).

I find it hard to believe that they were keeping the animals for just milk and products from milk. They were using the skins to make coverings and other items and I believe they used every thing so as to not waste the spent life of the animal.

But, either way you look at it when Noah exited the Ark God gave them permission to eat animals and even gave rules as to what is "clean and unclean." Jesus himself caught, cooked and ate fish. Aside from a few times he fasted he spent most of his time feasting and celebrating and why not considering he was a short timer and going out a most horrific way.

Genesis 9
God's Covenant With Noah
1 Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth. 2 The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands. 3 Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.
4 "But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it. 5 And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each man, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of his fellow man.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say they ate animals. Genesis 1:29 God says He gave them every herb bearing seed and fruit of the trees for "meat" (food).

Being given "dominion" over animals is not being given the permission to eat them but to rule over them & care for them.

Acts 9 is not saying it is OK to eat whatever you want. Keep reading it will explain itself.

examine Roman mythology, Greek mythology and a super sort of different mythologies wherein the Gods walk with mortals and help them the place they're in disaster and human nature that's the two good and undesirable is justified, Even the Jews say that Their savior whilst he will come on earth will do a super sort of deeds and finally make way for God who will create a heaven on earth even for non believers and there will be no famine or sickness or sickness and countries will by no skill combat. And this Christian God is so intollerant that he will throw Billions of people who're of different Faiths into hell with out seeing in the event that they have been good or not are you able to suspect God would be so heartless. as properly if Constantine replace into notthere in Rome the Christians would at present be composed Of Slaves and decrease rungs as they continuously have been fo 2 centuaries interior the previous.

Basically the Bible says that pre-flood men ate of the fruit and of the trees. After the flood, God instilled a fear of man in the animals and God gave certain ones to be food for man!! I have a question for you. I would like you to think very hard before you answer. Can a vegetarian eat a brain dead cow? Personally, I am trying to incorporate more veggies into my diet. But please don't forget about the protein.

God gave Noah the right to eat meat after the flood (Genesis 9:1-7).

Don't call someone wrong, if God says what they are doing is OK (Acts 10:9-16). Apparently God gets miffed at that (Romans 14:1-13)

Adam and Eve ate bread and vegetation until Jehovah told Noah after the flood that they could eat meat, Gen 9:1-4 And God went on to bless Noah and his sons and to say to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth. 2 And a fear of YOU and a terror of YOU will continue upon every living creature of the earth and upon every flying creature of the heavens, upon everything that goes moving on the ground, and upon all the fishes of the sea. Into YOUR hand they are now given. 3 Every moving animal that is alive may serve as food for YOU. As in the case of green vegetation, I do give it all to YOU. 4 Only flesh with its soul—its blood—YOU must not eat.

Actually, I don't think meat was eaten until after the flood, because the flood killed all the vegetation. That's why God told Noah to eat the creatures after they finally hit land. I think that during the 1,000 year reign of Christ, there won't be any meat eating either, but that's just my opinion. That also explains the "lion eating straw like the lamb", it won't be just humans who no longer eat meat.

Clintea, in case you hadn't heard, chickens makes these things called eggs.

Humans are omnivores. If we do not eat vegetables, fruits, AND meats, we cannot be healthy. As a vegetarian, you probably take supplements, if you do not, you need to. Your body cannot produce many amino acids and vitamins (like B vitamins) and you must consume them. They have to come from an animal source.
Most plants have a nervous system that is more complex than our own. That would mean that they are better able to assess and experience injury than we are. Meaning it is more cruel to eat a plant than an animal.
If you are totally against killing other creatures, does that mean you don't wash your hands for fear of killing bacteria and virii? Do you avoid vacuuming for fear of killing dust mites? Do you take antibiotics thereby killing pathogens and even normal flora? It discusses the preparation of sacrifices and meat in Genesis and is implied that Adam et al. ate meat. I can understand the idea of slaughter and butchering an animal as grotesque but as a human, yuo are part carnivore, part herbivore.

The bible says that God made the animals for man's use. What else is a chicken good for? By the way, Malak, an egg is hardly vegetation, it is a baby chick.

The eating of meat was sanctioned by God in the wilderness. First practiced after the flood. There is no reference in the Garden.

The Bible warns of those who forbid the eating of meat, so scripturally, you are not on solid ground. However, those who eat nothing but vegetables are free to do so, as long as they do not make it an issue for others.
