The Acts is the only book in the bible which has up to 99,9% backing from archeological and other physical evidence. Am I right to say this is the only book that requires very little faith but others need much faith to be believed?

I wonder if this has any central beginning in a certain Tradition or what. It just seems that there should be some kind of a universal reasoning for this. Do you know of anything?

When God created them, he must have known that they wouldn't be able to resist temptation. But not only did he punish them very harshly, he also punished all of their descendents.

Why didn't he just forgive them and give them another chance?

I was just using it for fun, out of ignorance that it was evis. I once tried cracking a code (and failed). What am I supposed to do?

P.S. I could do it WITHOUT the help of God; on my own, and AT WILL. I even looked down on those who prayed, thinking IT was REAL power. Now, I quit, and, looking back, I realyze how FOOLISH I was.

I no longer look down on those people; I look up to them.

What should I do?

In terms of how it perhaps appeals to people who fear what the afterlife might hold. Do you think that some people only keep their religious ceremonies and rituals to the absolute letter because they fear going to Hell? Is it a bit like the tv show Lost where the fear of not pressing the button in the bunker was what kept them pressing it for so long?

Athiests, how can you believe that there is not a god? How can you look at this world, in it's perfection, and believe there is not a god? How can you read of so many miricals, and believe there is no god? Is the world lying? Is it really probobal that the whole entire world has lied about experiencing devine encounters? Is the world being so perfectly placed in this universe a coincidence? How do you explain EVERYTHING on this earth being so perfectly made? And if what you believe is true, what does that make us? What's our purpose in life? We have nothing to live for. Our lives mean nothing. There's no reason to live. I envy you... you have so much faith in what is so imposible. I wish I had that much faith in what I know is true.

How can you believe there is no god?

My question are what will happen to Chrisitan whose foundation of faith relies on the ressurection and ascension?

Has the report been proven to be the body of Christ? Had they been able to extract DNA sample from the Shroud of Turin and Match it up to the corpse buried in Kashmir?
